I recommend Split/Second (OnLive). Fun game. And it works well with touch.

I can recommend heaps. Anyway, here are some.

Edit: May as well add some screens and more info

Rocketron - The best implementation of the one-button gravity switching idea I've played so far, and a brilliant chiptune soundtrack

ZDefense - The best tower defense game I've played so far

Turbofly 3D - Wipeout clone with super accurate accelerometer controls with a Trance soundtrack

Apparatus - Physics-based "get the ball in the hole" puzzler

Karoshi - Lateral thinking innovative, gory puzzler where the aim is to die (screenshot below: easy level, jump in the spikes to advance to next level)

Pot Smash - Smash pots by tapping with finger, in "Smash 3 letter words" my highest score is 120, can anyone beat this?

Thanks dudes! Updated. Karoshi, Apparatus and Illusia look good. I got them downloaded from the Android Market and/or GetJar promos and can't wait to get to them. Tiny Towers looks really good, but it's not compatible with my phone.

Samurai II: Vengeance. Just downloaded it today on Get Jar and have been blown away by the art direction. Phenominal stuff for a mobile game.

Updated. I've tried Samurai II - it keeps crashing to my home screen though... that, or maybe I just kept pressing the home button .?

I also just gave ZDefense a go. It's pretty sweet. For some reason the regular version (as opposed to the Lite)is $2.99 in the Android Market, but it's Free at GetJar. Hmm....

Shoot the Apple - Don't be fooled by the boring title. This is the only game on Android I can label as ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC.

@ Nicksonman. Thank for the recommendation. I actually just gave it a try and it is indeed fantastic!
@ AmazonTreeBoa. I only update as recommendations come in, so feel free to add more if you'd like. I've added NOVA 2 and MC3.
