Saints and Brees managed to screw themselves and each other by not getting a deal done sooner. They needed to use that franchise tag on Carl Nicks. Now he's gone. You don't let All-Pro guards leave at such a young age. You just don't. Look at what happened to the Seahawks when Steve Hutchinson left. I'm predicting the Saints will experience a drop of at least 50 passing yards per game, and 20 rushing.

Is this more or less than Fitzgerald? I thought Fitz was getting 120M for six years?

I think it was 8 years for $120 million.

Your team paid way to much for him. Doesn't Stafford need to be resigned too?

I'm intrigued by Flynn maybe being our QB, but I'm just not sold yet. There has to be a reason why he was a 7th round pick in the first place.

John Carlson got a nice deal with the Vikings, five years 25 million. I think Zach Miller is better, but I'll miss Carlson. Good player.

Seahawks pulled in some great FAs last year, I'm not too worried that they aren't serious players this year. Sidney Rice, Zach Miller and Robert Gallery were all good pickups. This year they have focused on their own guys, paying Lynch and Big Red. As long as they draft a QB in the draft,

Flynn played really well in a game against the Lions and it was a high scoring game too. And thats all I know about him.

Against one of the league's worst secondaries, in a game that didn't have any significance. He played great, but I'm kind of playing devil's advocate so I don't get my hopes up that he might be the next great QB.

Great signing by the boys. IDC how expensive he was cuz dbs is their biggest need and it seems like you have to overpay for everyone these days if you wanna sign someone in FA.
