I don't see how that is relevant. There are enough NFL films and career statistics readily available to form an opinion on a player who did his stuff years before I was born.

Swann is in because he was on all four SB winning teams, and he had that wicked catch against the Cowboys in one of the earlier SBs. Besides that, it was hardly a HOF career.
Agreed. Bob Hayes>>>That scrub. Lynn Swann never even finished a season with 900 yards.

Good signing, necessary for sure though maybe a little costly given his recent health issues.

The Texans made the best resigning of Free Agency though, resigning Arian Foster for 5 years and only $43.5M ($20.75 gurenteed)

Also today was the franchise tag deadline, here's a full list of teams and who they franchised:
    Cardinals: Calais Campbell, DE
    Falcons: Brent Grimes, CB
    Ravens: Ray Rice, RB
    Bears: Matt Fore, RB
    Bengals: Mike Nugent, K
    Browns: Phil Dawson, K
    Cowboys: Anthony Spencer, LB
    Broncos: Matt Prater, K
    Lions: Cliff Avril, DE
    Colts: Robert Mathis, DE
    Jaguars: Josh Scobee, K
    Chiefs: Dwayne Bowe, WR
    Patriots: Wes Welker, WR
    Saints: Drew Brees, QB
    Giants: Steve Weatherford, K
    Raiders: Tyvon Branch, S
    Eagles: Desean Jackson, WR
    49ers: Dashon Goldson, S
    Buccaneers: Connor Barth, K
    Titans: Michael Griffin, S
    Redskins: Fred Davis, TE

I believe that's it at the moment, not sure if anyone else will get it, but will update if that does come across.

What health issues? He was a late scratch against Cleveland last year, but hasn't missed many starts for a couple years now.

He missed 4 games last year, and 12 the year before that in Buffalo. He's still only 25 though, and overall I think it was a good signing though.

That's what the Packers should've got. Only on defense.

Brady when playing under 40 degrees is 35-8. That is pretty damn good. I really hope the Patriots never get a dome stadium, it ruins all of the excitement in having a Snow game.

Seems like Drew Brees isn't going to sign the franchise tender.

Yeah, I wish there were no domes in general. The elements are a part of football at just about every other level (outside of a handful of colleges). Why not the NFL?

Add to the fact that it just makes the league more pass happy. Well besides when Tom Brady plays, he had 6 TD passes against the Titans in snow.

Two interesting stories out of Denver today

Peyton Manning is meeting with John Elway and the Broncos' brass todaywith what theBroncos could put around him (decent receivers, good O-line, weak division) I think they have to be looked at as one of the favorites. It makes all the sense in the world if you ask me. The Broncos could also trade Tebow if this happens, not only does that give them a clean break from the nightmare that has been their fans, but also gives them another draft selection to surrond Peyton with more talent.

The Broncos' D.J. Williams, Ryan McBean, Virgil Green have suspendedfor 4 (Green), and 6 (Williams and McBean) games. I figure they probably deserve it, if for being idiots if nothing else.
