Here we are again. It's been 2 years since the last one of these and I thought it high time to do another.

The idea is very simple. 46 of your favourite video games characters were chosen in another thread to compete against each other in vs combat. This is a forum comp so what that means is that you'll just be voting in polls :)

To participate simply click on the appropriate link below to be taken to the page for that round. Post why you think your chosen character would win and cast your vote in the poll at the top.Characters can use any skills from their games, not TV show spinoffs, just games. Try to keep your answer down to who you think would win and not just who your favourite is :)

All are welcome to join so spread the word. Blog it, Twitter it, Facebook it, skywrite it if you like :) The person with the most referrals wins a ponysaurus*

Now onto the boring bit, the rules. Well that's the best part of this competition; there is only 1 rule : there are no rules!

In addition to that rule are the following rules:

• Rule2 :Each person can only vote once in the poll but is encouraged to discuss the fight and their reasons
• Rule3 :Each match will last a week. Once the deadline hits this page will be updated and no further votes will count.
• Rule 1 mk II :Never, ever take a sleeping pill anda laxative at the same time, it'll only result in bad juju

Result :As per my own rules, if there's a tie, my vote is excluded. My vote was for Sissel so the King of all Cosmos wins this round.

Result :Ever tried to dance from side to side... while holding your breath... while choking on swamp weed... while a lombax tries to shoot you in the eye?

Well... let me tell you... It ain't fun

Result : Nolan North beat Nolan North in this less than close fight :)

@Bayloski - are you referring to the other thread? If so I did some culling. We had over 50. Ideally, to ensure we have consistent 1 vs 1 fights and an end battle between two people we should have had 2, 4, 8, 16, 32 or 64 combatants but I figured 46 would do as it's a good list. We'll just have to either have some 3 way fights or allow byes.

Anyway they should all be up now. 23 fights for the first tier.
