Oh yes I remember that ep. It's one I try to force from my mind though. Not one of their best IMO.

Yeah, there seem to be very mixed opinions of it. Some think it's a big mistake, and others (like me) actually think it's one of the funniest episodes yet.

I thought it was a good idea however the jokes all relied too heavily on the styIe of the particular bit. It was funny the first time but, by the end, I was just tired of the self referential jokes. Normally the episodes are a little more intelligent than that IMO.

That's true, and I think most of the humour was more about visual gags than quotations. The intentionally terrible voice acting and poor lip syncingin the anime segment never fails to crack me up.

I personally thought the season's worst episode was the whole gender-swapping rock alien one.

With the exception of the bits with Fry's shoe I agree. That one was pretty avg

    Hey guys,

Not sure if you remember but, a while back, I mentioned that DeltaPhoenix08 and I were going to start a podcast. Well we did our first episode on the weekend and you can grab a copy here

    Download the MP3

    iTunes Version

I know that's shameless, blatant advertising there but I'd really appreciate your opinions on it.

Do you guys have any recommendation for music that helps you concentrate? I am kind of sick of To Zarnarkan after 4 years after having it on repeat for every single study session.

    Something similar to

    Final Fantasy XIII-2 ~ Main Theme ~Wish~

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KN_8R_vN3rI&

    Silent Hills 2 Promise

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6qalGezr76o

EDIT: Actually take a look at this

The game provides no incentive to replay it, also i have a massive backlog.
I probably would have replayed it if my backlog didnt exist.
That silent hill song is amazing.... never played silent hill 2, but wow!

Silent Hills have a lot of amazing songs! Even if game quality fails these past few years, most of the sound tracks are top notch

    This one's great too:

    Theme of Laura

Nice work. How often do you plan to do these? As for the discussion in the podcast about indie games, I think people generally mean "made by a small self funded team", and ignore the larger independent developers (e.g. Valve and LucasArts). So it isn't too surprising when people don't think of games like the Witcher as indie games.

Thanks. I think I'm a big culprit when it comes to excluding large companies from the "indie" banner. It's not intentional I just lose sight of the whole "independant developer" versus "indie culture" thing

We're hoping to thunk them out weekly. There're certainly enough news and new game releases to talk about

I'm quite pleased with how it came out actually. not bad for first timers
