recommend a good f2p mmorpg

Ok i need something you ease my sufferings untill diablo 3 and guild wars come out!
ok here are few tips that i dont want:
1.i hate asian mmorpgs
2.rec me something that has cash shop simmilar to league of legends
3.dont rec me idiotic wow clones
4.ive played:Allods,vindictus,dragon nest,lotro,d&d and some more....

- Apr 23, 2012 3:12 pm GMTHave you tried Champions Online? It has a cash shop, but it can also be a subscriptuion game just to get whatever powers/mixes you want instead of classes. It was pretty fun when I played for a little, just to tide me over. Make any super hero you can imagine, and go at it. As far as f2p, its as much quality as youre gonna get. And Lol isnt an rpg. It's just gross.

Maple Story is still a very good game - also 4story and Eden Eternal which is a fairly new anime game is good to kill some time with.
I spend some time in F2P but mostly play subscription games that like WoW offer the first couple weeks or few levels of play for free as an introduction.
the disney run games like Pirates of the Caribbean online let you play without paying but some of the weapons and the larger ships are locked for "members only" and non members earn less rep and less gold.
I do know a lot of people who opt to play for free either because their parents won't buy them a subscription or the don't think it worth the money.
I know a couple who have been playing for 4 years as basic (non paying) - the wife is an attorney and her husband a fire man but they don't want to spend the extra money for a silly kids game
even though they can't stop playing

Aion is the best f2p mmo right now (imo). Yes it's Asian and yes it's (kind of) a WoW clone. However Diablo 3 comes out next month and you could also look into Firefall which isn't quite out yet but still, looks awesome.

Most western markets won't agree with that a whole lot. I'm not really sure wtf blizzard is thinking with their RTM shop for Diablo III I would totally refuse to play that over hyped piece of crap just for that alone.

[/QUOTE] Ragnarok Online is actually a KRPG. It wasn't made in Japan. As for the TC, if you dont want to play Asian MMO's then you REALLY limit yourself. Get over your bias and try them out, you haven't played all of them. Main reason i dont play 99% of asian games is that they are still stuck in 90-s.Just look at Pokemon franchise and simmilar stuff.im tired of that!ive grown up with original Playstation and im really tired of that same gridny stuff with childish champs!
