If this is a "celebration" of Playstation's biggest names, then there is no way Cloud shouldn't be in it. His game was HUGE and got many people into Final Fantasy. I would almost bet on him being in.

The only way this game could possibly get me excited is if there are a bunch of SEGA characters, because Sony's guys are either unknown to me or blow chunks. What made Smash Bros. so appealing in the first place was the chance to play as all the awesome and likable Nintendo characters. Playing in a Sly Cooper stage with Kratos is lame as hell to me.

I don't mind it being a shamefull carbon copy of SSB, it's going to be interesting playing with all those characters, potentially fun if they handle it right. We should be glad it's not another God damn shooter. With IPs like this and Little Big Planet at least the PS3 has some good variety. Maybe i'm gonna buy a PS3 and a dozen or so games again.
