    And if so which one sees most activity? I was never really into PC gaming when these came out and I'm sad I missed them, worth buying without others to play?

    The second one has plenty of people playing left4dead 1 though is probably dead and no point of playing since valve brought over all the campaigns with the original characters into L4D2 so you get to enjoy the original game with all the improvements of l4d2.

    Yeah, alot of people play Left 4 Dead 2 and they ported all Left 4 Dead 1 maps to Left 4 Dead 2 so you should buy l4d2.

    This. I still play L4D2 once in a while when I get the urge (add my steam id if you want: bluefish2530). I wish they would announce L4D3 already..

    I think left 4 dead 2 has way more players, and damn it's fun when i don't know what to play. Yes, not only is it worth getting, but many steam groups have custom xp servers with ranking up. It's good for screwing around or for hardcore gameplay with realism mode.

    L4D2 was fun, especially that map Questionable Ethics. That was actually the only map I played, and I didn't even bother with the game. I played L4D1 before it, so it was the same crap.

    That map though was amazingly well made. Had lotsa fun with my friend. We had to kick other people out because they were 2 bad and we kept dying since bots were much better.

    L4D2 was fun, especially that map Questionable Ethics. That was actually the only map I played, and I didn't even bother with the game. I played L4D1 before it, so it was the same crap.     Its good fun still and people still play it.

    Me and my buddy reinstalled L4D2 the ohter night, did a bunch of the L4D1 imported levels and then did one of the L4D2 ones the next night. Still good fun!

    I mean seriously just get it, you'll have plenty to play with. Join a couple groups and steam will sync up their servers for you.

    Wow, I haven't played L4D2 in a while. Problem is this game is only enjoyable when you play with your friends and all of those are students now.

    I think it's just "NO MERCY." They were suppose to port over all the L4D1 campaign's but I don't think it ever happened due to Valve being busy and all. *giggles* I mean, the beta map is still in beta hehe.

    !!! Wow.. didn't know that. I guess it's because I go straight to server game browser (not the list you showed above) and I would only find "No Mercy" games. Thanks mate, I'll try to play during peak hours because I really want to play Death Toll again.
