There's the Wiimote plus, there's a classic controller pro, there's a new Zelda game which requires us to use the motion plus, a device that made me wonder whether or not Nintendo thought we were idiots because quite frankly I can't see why I should get it just for one lousy game. It's not a good investment you know? I like Zelda a lot but one game? One game only? As good as it might be, that's just a bad investment to buy a Wiimote plus for. Also as much as I appreciate the help (I really do, thank you guys) people that suggest the cumbersome add-on don't seem to get the point I'm making, it's still the fact that I'm buying an extra peripheral for the one game.

It just doesn't seem like a person can justify such a purchase, you know what I mean?

Anyway there's all of a sudden these 3 European RPGs that seem to have some level of mystique about them, though I do not really understand the context of and what it's all about, having not been aware of them. The 3 being Xenoblade, The Last Story, and I believe a Pandora's Tower?

Is it worth getting a classic controller pro if I already have the classic controller? Is there really much of a difference between playing... say... Xenoblade with a regular classic controller and a classic controller pro? I don't know if I want to buy a classic controller pro for just this one game. And whether or not those other 2 aforementioned RPGs would play better with the device.

As well as other games such as the ones available on the Virtual Console that require a classic controller. And how much more comfortable the CC Pro happens to be.

So basically, my points boil down to:

    1) Worth getting a wiimotion plus despite the lack of games I'm interested in for it? If there are any other than Red steel 2 and aforementioned Zelda?

    2) Worth getting a classic controller pro as a controller I'll be continuously using for many various games, not just these new RPGs?

    3) High profile games released now, within the apparent end of the Wii's lifecycle?

And... I think that's all? Unless there are other high profile/low profile games I missed besides the new Zelda and these RPGs I know little about other than praise that's been given by people? I actually just finished doing a few Wii purchases on Amazon to catch up on 1 or 2 games released in 2010 and even from previous years.

Video games are fun, and should be enjoyed in moderation just like everything else.

The past two years have Wii have been like this. 2010 came out with a slew of software of games like Mario Galaxy 2, Donkey Kong Country, Kirby's Epic Yarn, and Metroid Other M. Third parties released Sonic Colors, Epic Mickey, Red Steel 2, No More Heroes 2, Tatsunoko Vs Capcom, and Prince of Persia. 2011 was pretty much not that great outside of Zelda, Kirby's Return to Dreamland, Lost In Shadow, and Conduit 2. 2012 has got Xenoblade, The Last Story, and Epic Mickey to due for release.

Getting a Wii motion plus will depend on how much of a Zelda fan you are. If you already have a classic controller, then you probably do not need a pro unless you really like handle grips.

id get the wiimote plus....the one with wii motion + built in...yopu can use it for all your wiigames..not just zelda.

because when the wiiu comes out...only wiimote + controllers will work with it.

about the CCpro....i stuck with the regular one..im sure you could too.

games? xenoblade seems to be the best of the 3...thats the one i got.

M+ is worth it just for Skyward Sword. CCPro is only a minor improvement over the first, not worth buying if you already have the original. The only future release I can think of is Last Story.
