    Being a huge fan of the Pokemon series I was thinking for a long time. The WiiU will have so many possibilities for Pokemon. The console has two screens which can cause it to act as 3DS/DS screen giving us gameplay similar to the handhelds. I have also heard rumors of way better online play for WiiU so that can increase the online Pokemon battles & ect multiplayer based things. Do you think we can finally accpect a Pokemon 3D that plays like one on a handheld. Fighting Gyms, Elite 4, Exploring & More? I think with the WiiU it is highly a possibility, even if they just use an old region and turn it 3D. I do not see why they could not do this. Some many more possibilities to take the Pokemon franchise one step higher.

    If any nintendo console is going to have a pokemon game this seems like a good candidate.

    Still, wouldn't hold your breath. They seem pretty adamant about keeping it on handheld which I unfortunately have to agree makes sense.

    I would love to see a true Pokemon game come to the Wii U. The game could really branch out and more could be done with it. Unfortunately Pokemon is a big seller for Nintendo's handheld so bringing it to the Wii U could distract the potential sales of the 3DS.

    Like its been said, that's not going to happen. Pokemon is a franchise that helps dictate the flow of the handheld market, the best you can hope for is spinoffs on a console.

    i wish they tried single player pokemon on consoles again... but no stupid gimmicks (stupid shadow pokemon), just your good old trainer adventure. include a robust multiplayer too, with rental pokes and all. basically, merge stadium with the single player game in one game.

    and since it would be on the console, they'd be able to implement the visual changes i've been complaining about in pokemon for a while: combat is too static. make the pokes look like they're actually attacking, not that they're spasming as special effects happen around them. if a GBA game can do it, so can pokemon.

    Unfortunately this is kinda true. I'm afraid the home consoles will always get mediocre spin-offs, but I still hope for a great game. You know what, Pokemon Stadium was actually great, I would love something like that.

    There will deffintly be a Pokemon game on Wii U sometime. Something like Pokemon Stadium or Collosium. Abit off topic. I want a Yugioh Game on Wii U. the cards in your hand would be on the tablet controller the main TV would be for the playing field so on and so forth.
