    Either Pittsburgh or Toronto.

I'm not a city guy in the least. I prefer small towns and the country, but Pittsburgh has a lot of things to do and Toronto was just a nice city to visit.

Yeah, New York is my second pick. I didn't pick it for first because I could never imagine working or living there, it would be too hectic. Great place to visit though.

I like San Francisco, CA alot. It has a really cool vibe. It's a little bit too busy for me though.

Some of the best places to live are probably located in Southern California. There is no better weather and that's not even up for debate LOL.

My home state (North Dakota) is my favorite. I've visited quite a few cool cities in the USA and Canada (Philadelphia, NYC, Chicago, San Francisco, Denver, Minneapolis/St. Paul, Washington D.C., Winnipeg, etc.), but there are plenty of other cities and countries that I'd love to visit, so this is by no means a completed list!

I think it might just be a bit too liberal/expensive for my tastes

I can see why you'd want to though.
