I love San Francisco. Just to visit though.

Why just visit? I'd personally like to live there.
I think it might just be a bit too liberal/expensive for my tastes I can see why you'd want to though.

Well, you're definitely right about how it's very liberal and expensive for living. I've seen gay pride parades there several times, tons of hippies hanging out downtown, and the apartments there are horribly expensive. Even though it's expensive, that it's very liberal makes me want to live there. Kind of like why I like Berkeley so much.

That's right, you wanted to go to Berkeley! I'm glad you found your niche then.

    Minot, North Dakota. Easily.

Low taxes. low cost of living, freedom from government intrusion. Basically everything I want in a place to live.

The difference between you and me? I run towards gunfire.

    Vancouver and Prague.

San Fran was really nice too though I would never live there. Trying to drive a manual around there was a pain in the ass.

I was born and raised in New York City, and I've only been to one other state - Virginia, during the summer of my twelfth year of life. Virginia was hot - really hot, and it was much more serene and quiet than New York City, which I liked. I guess I'd have to say that I like Virginia more than NYC; I could see myself living there. In case you're wondering, I don't remember exactly what part of Virginia it was that I visited.

San Antonio! I live in Houston, but when I want to get away and relax, San Antonio is the city I'd prefer. A mix of rural and urban scenes plus nice people is awesome.
