    Topic.

I'm not interested in social commentary about Dr Who, or how stupid it is, what a kiddie show it is, and if you're not into the show or are playing the game, keep your negativity to yourself...

... But since we will pro'ly never see a proper review from GS, tell me what you think please? And, is this game episodic like "Walking Dead" where there's more to come or is it a stand-alone title?

    Cheers!

I'm interested in knowing myself. Too bad there's no demo. I'll get it for sure if it goes free on PSN+, however.

I'm also ready to wait for the whole set of games for the story to be released in a bundle since it's on the store for $20, which is a bit expensive considering the few reviews out for it aren't overly favorable. Granted, I probably won't be able to wait for a bundle due to my level of being a fan. It doesn't look that bad, and it's probably one of those things where if you're a fan you'll like it and be able to look past the problems. Plus, the co-op will get rid of any AI issues with River, so that's an ignorable complaint/issue with the game.

Hopefully, if enough people buy it there will either be interest by a bigger company to make a full adventure game or at least have games by the same developer but set outside the current Doctor's universe (Tom Baker and Romana 2 would make for a fun game).

big fan of the dr but from what ive read especially eurogamers review 2/10 and they said they were dr who fans too. im either going to wait for a large price drop or pass, it sounds extremely glitchy with sounds cutting out and partner AI getting stuck. Not much variety, short and not much replay value.

Always liked Mary Tamm a bit more than Lala Ward...

... But yeah, that'd be cool. Tom Baker isn't so stand-off anymore concerning being involved in the DW world (he just did some readings, as did Lala Ward, I believe)... So we can hope. If it's an episodic thing ("Eternity Clock") then I think I'll pro'ly wait out the bundle too.

2/10 in EuroGamer? Ouch... Not encouraging.

But I'm a major Matt Smith fan (much more than I ever expected to be, honestly) so I feel compelled to play this game...

i'm a big DW fan, but from everything i've seen, stay far away. this game is horrible, even by doctor who game standards. I was really looking forward to it, but i'm running in the other direction on this one.

Not sure if you get it where you live MonkeySpot, but the Canadian show Reviews on the Run will be reviewing the game probably next week.

I'm in the US, so unless it's available online somewhere?

EDIT: Found their website. I used to watch Victor Lucas and that idiot Tommy Talarico (that guy made me want to rip my ears off, his voice was so irritating) when this show ran under a different name here on expanded cable. Will keep my eye on it. I seem to recall one review where Talarico made such vile expulsions of vitriol about the game (I think it was a baseball title), that it became a bit legendary...

    Found it:

It's worth watching. He gets so mad at Victor for trying to say ANYTHING positive, he storms off.

I liked Tommy on the show and was sad to see him go. He certaintly didn't love every game the way Vic does.

I'll advise as to their verdict on Dr. Who after I've seen the review in case you can't find it.

Oh I would rather hear ANY reviewer get as honest as Tommy did in the above YouTube vid. I just thought that one on partivular was awesome.

Reviews on the Run finally got around to reviewing the game. It got a 4.0 from Jose and a 2.5 from Ben.

In a nutshell they said its just a platformer with bad controls.
