- Jun 24, 2012 7:21 am GMTPouliot played well for us for a large majority of the year. A lot of people we're upset that he caused the turnover to end the season. I believe Caron is able to fill his void, plus the Bruins got a pick and a player for Pouliot. Gives us another player to develop and possibly another player to use and or trade this season.

Great trade for the Leafs today. They actually got something for Gus:shock:
Nah, just kidding. The Schenn trade was great. I see him nothing more than a 4/5 defenseman at best, and JVR is a top 6 forward at worst. Can play any forward spot. I'd love Lupul-JVR-Kessel.
And according to Twitter, Burke isn't done:
Paul Hendrick?@HennyTweetsSchenn to flyers for jvr...leafs not done yet.#tmltalk
The latest speculation I heard was involving St. Louis.
I'll trust him. That was 6 hours ago, but as of a couple hours ago, he said it was still on...whatever it is. I think Komi goes, or we get another top 6 forward...somehow. - Jun 24, 2012 6:47 pm GMT
Leafs finally traded Schenn...good, only because I'm sick of hearing his name in trade rumours - Jun 24, 2012 7:28 pm GMT
Leafs finally traded Schenn...good, only because I'm sick of hearing his name in trade rumours
I was sick of all the media making him out as something he wasn't or asking "what's wrong with Schenn? Can they fix him?" And St. Louis eh? I haven't read that today...I did briefly read someone in the Toronto media (forget who) speculate it could be Halak or Berglund or something. But I ignored it. Hendrick said it was still on and he knows who is involved....can't say though. Maybe it has to do with Luo? Or Nashville? Nonis, Burke and Loiselle were all talking to Poille at the draft. Don't know who though... Anyways, doubt he made it up, and had to of got Leafs permission to say such a thing. Only time will tell. It would be nice to come home from my final exam and have a big trade. - Jun 25, 2012 12:01 am GMT
And St. Louis eh? - Jun 26, 2012 1:24 pm GMTApparently Luongo's asking price is too high for Burke, but reports say Roberto is only interested in going to Florida now.
- Jun 27, 2012 8:36 pm GMTFlames sign Wideman to a 5 year contract at about 5 million a year. I think they're over paying him by a million or two but that is just me.

Rask is close to a deal with the Bruins. Hoping for 3 or 4 years.
1 year, 3.5 mil. It makes me sad :( Quick signs a 10 year, 58 mil. deal. Crosby signs a 12 year, 104.4 mil. deal, which will pay him 8.7 million. Everyone getting their 10 year deals in now, before the new CBA. Most haven't really worked out...but lots of time left on them. - Jun 28, 2012 6:19 pm GMT

We also have five other goalies to work with as well.
- Jun 28, 2012 6:46 pm GMTLets hope that the new CBA rises the cap. The Bruins are going to be in trouble after next year. Rask, Marchand, Seguin, Lucic, and Horton are all free agents next year. We won't have much room left I believe. Thomas is signed until 12-13 (this up coming season) so I think that will leave some cap room next off season. We will still have to pay Savard's hit unless we can put him back on LTIR. Now I know this getting ahead of things. But I would like to see the Bruins resign Seguin for about 4-5 million a year (for four to five years)I think that is a fair deal. Hopefully Marchand will re-sign. Not to worried about Lucic I have a feeling he loves Boston

About 10 teams think they can't get there, leading to bad contracts. And if that happens, it'll be tough to get a new CBA. I feel sad seeing all your teams and your freshly signed goalies...one of which should be ours. - Jun 29, 2012 9:42 pm GMT
Crazy long deals being given out. Especially S.Crosby who could be one more big hit away from another concussion that could be career threatening. Very risky move by Pens management. - Jun 29, 2012 9:50 pm GMT

Lets hope that the new CBA rises the cap. The Bruins are going to be in trouble after next year. If nY gets him, I feel that really opens the door for a trade for Nash. They probably feel better about trding a Dman like Del Zotto. Apparently talks are "heating up quickly" with free agency starting tomorrow. Colby Armstrong bought out by the Leafs. He had some real tough luck with them, but it had to be done. - Jun 30, 2012 6:10 pm GMT
