Will we see hockey? Yes, No, and then something like "I don't get the CBA" or whatever.

How bad a GM is Scott Howson?

Which player was not worth the contract they signed? Suter, Wideman, Crosby (in terms of years and injury concerns), etc. That's what I got.

Sather really did play the Nash thing just right and won that game of chicken big time. Rangers are basically adding Nash and Kreider to the roster to replace Dubinsky and A.Anisimov. That's a huge upgrade. I think 2 things happened for CBJ. Howson didn't want to trade Nash to a Division rival and have him sticking it to them for years to come... even if a rival offered a much better package. And I also think CBJ ownership wanted the Nash soap opera to end and to move on. I think they took less of a package to send Nash to the other conference. Dubinsky will probably play better with a change of scenery. If the NYR can get Doan... look out. They already look pretty nasty as it is in the East.

'Canes sign Semin to a 1 year, 7 milion dollar deal.

Their first line could be a beast...or bomb.

If it all works, get some better D and Ward returns to the form I think he can (like, Vezina calibur), they'll be great.

I agree, the Canes have the possibility of making a run. But it will only happen if we get a new CBA.

I always thought 5 year contracts were long enough. I see no hassle in just re-signing for an additional 5 years later.

Things are starting to heat up a bit with Seattle.

Unless my memory sucks, not a whole lot. Got Jonas Gustavsson as a back up, which to me, is good. Didn't get Suter, Carle, Parise, or try to sign Weber.

Brought back Mikael Samuelsson and signed Jonas Gustavsson and Jordan Tootoo. They've been trying to land Shane Doan too but that appears unlikely to happen.
