I recently added a topic in the games discussion about the mainstream media view of gaming.

It appears to have been locked and removed and I'm just wondering why? Was it the content or the fact it included a link to my own blog in my signature.

If this is the case, is there a way to make this more 'acceptable'?

    Thanks

Read me... I write lots of good stuff about gaming and what not...

After seeing what the thread was, it comes off slightly as an thread that is just there to promote your blog. It's perfectly fine to have a link to your blog in your signature--in fact, it's encouraged--it's when you make a thread to promote it, it tends to come off as spam. The thread was simply removed, and you weren't moderated for it.

Hope this clears things up a bit.
