We heard you like demos, so we hope you?ll be pleased to hear that the Heroes Of Ruin demo will be coming to the North American 3DS eShop on Thursday, 5th July.
The North American demo is exactly the same as the one already available in Europe, Australia and New Zealand, enabling you to take command of either the Gunslinger or the Vindicator and head into the Elder Forest for one story quest and two side-quests.
The demo supports drop in/drop out co-op multiplayer for up to four players over both Local and WiFi, allowing you to form an alliance even with your European friends as you take your first steps into the world of Veil.

I love the connectivity and all of the features this game has, but I just can't get hyped for what looks to be a pretty simple hack-and-slash type of game. Maybe the demo can prove me wrong.

Even if the game sucks it should atleast show other developers the potential of the system. Maybe even Nintendo will learn from it.

I pre-ordered this game, but I have to admit I am a bit scared I won't likeit.
The reviews were around average to only slightly good.\
Even if i shouyldnt trust reviewers most of the time.
The higher the score a game receives will probably result in: I will enjoy the game even more.

Got it on pre-order and I don't see that changing even if I don't like the demo, unless it is just pure awful. Didn't like RE: Revelations demo and I thought the game was awesome.

From what I hear, the game will have DLC (new missions, challanges, etc...) every day for atleast a year, all of which is free btw. I heard somewhere that the main story is about 20 hours long.

That seems rather silly, you can only force yourself to enjoy the game if you're playing it and you don't like all of it but keep going.

I can't say that you won't enjoy it on some level. But I think it helps to go in with low expectations.
If you approach it expecting an entertaining, satisfying experience, it will disappoint.
