Hasn't the NFL failed in LA 2 times previously? I doubt it will work out there a 3rd time.

What teams are considering a relocation?

ITT: The fans are always to blame if a team moves. Honestly though, the owners of those two teams were Georgia Frontiere (who had the team playing in Anaheim before moving them to her home city), and Al Davis (no explanation needed). Take into account they left the same year (after splintering fan support for the previous 13), that both teams left more due to stadium politicing more than anything else, and the fact that one was a very succesful brand for 40 years I think they'd support a team better than a lot of NFL cities.

Seattle Supersonics move debunks that theory. Schultz flips the team for big profit, knowing full well the consequences. Bennett moves the team. Fans were not to blame in that move.

Exactly, what i'm trying to do is point out there were deeper reasons than lack of fan support behind the Raiders and Rams moves. Trying to claim that LA wouldn't support a team because they've had "2 (or 3) failed chances" really doesn't make a sound argument, given all the surronding circumstances. The Rams, like the Supersonics, were a relatively succesful team with adaquete fan support, until their owner and politics got in the way and forced the team to move.

Will they play in the Rose Bowl? That's the only way i might care Goodell. I heard Hoge saying they should go to 34 teams on tv *facepalm* I hope it's only one team, i don't want a Giants Jets situation where they share a stadium and it's not just one team people can get behind, as it is you have tons of fans of other teams around here already.
Please no Raiders, let them rot in that craphole of a stadium.

Watching Arena league today i just realized something that the "don't deserve a team" crowd can use, the Raiders, Rams and Chargers all left with the Avengers going kaput, you can be cute and say "they didn't support 4 football franchises they had" of course we all know the world isn't that simple. (The Rams also played in Anaheim so if i was old enough to care they would have been dead to me anyway)

I hope it happens. Ideally I'd hope the Raiders would move.

I was trolling. I was a little excited when the Vikings were rumored to be headed there. I know I would definitely make a bigger attempt at saving for a trip to see them live in LA. I missed them the last time they played the Seahawks. And I am definitely not going to Minn, any time soon.

Wasn't the parking a main point for the Raiders move? I might be mistaken. + a new stadium?

    -

What locations in LA would they build in? I haven't been following the league since baseball started.

You've got the Farmers field in downtown, which i think is the favorite, comes with a new convention center, costs a bajillion dollars when the city isn't even done paying off the old ugly ass convention center! I say no way no how! This state is already broke, the NFL needs LA more than LA needs the NFL that's why we've gone so long without a team. There's City of Industry stadium which i support (even if it has all the suites on side, but that might be a good thing as it'll bring the upper deck closer to the field for the average joe) that's about 10-20 miles east of LA which is fine for us, it's a bit out of the way which is why i like it you can organize the traffic getting in and out. Of course people want the downtown stadium to have everything centralized but imagine the traffic nightmare? Yah it's only 8 days a year but man i hate downtown. The downtown proposal is IIRC from AEG which owns the Kings, Staples Center n such so i would expect this one to win out even if it puts us in a deeper hole financially....YAY!! Fancy new toys!!

That would be the logical thing to do. The Raiders already have a strong fanbase here and people seem them as home team anyway. Either the Raiders or Rams...But please no Chargers, they can rot in San Diego.

I would love it if it was the Chargers, perfect to antagonize Faider fans. Those powder blues are also some of the best unis around. The "logical" move to make since they started here and are the closest team, plus southern california has a mish mash of fans of different teams already, norcal is a different animal. Let them rot in that craphole Al Davis wanted, remember this team tried to get rights on teams that would move to LA in the future.

I want it to be the Raiders or Rams because they have a history in the city. I think the Chargers are pretty much strictly a San Diego thing, even though there are some fans of them in LA. I just want LA to have a team. Period.
