    i'm a junior right now

it's been good. most of the partying i did was in my freshmen year, it's gone down in frequency (my 1st 2 semesters there was 2-3 parties almost every week) throughout because i'm getting more serious about starting my career

shouldn't be scared though. your time in college will be 100 times better than highschool ever was.

Great experience. I met some great people, dated some awesome girls, drank a lot of beer, and found my career path.

My first 2 years were pretty good especially when your "weekend" starts Wednesday night but eventually I transferred out of state and had to get a job and live on my own so I buckled down and kept the drinking and partying to a minimum.

Awesome. I want to go back.

Working sucks . You have so much more free time in college. You have a few more responsibilities sure, but you don't have to answer to your parents constnatly. You are free to do what you want. That freedom is awesome.

My suggestion, don't waste your time during the day. If you have 2 hours inbetween classes, do your homework then, don't sit and watch TV or play video games. You'll be more productive during those two hours than during the evening and it frees up a lot of time. You end up working less because it's easier to focus on homework in the academic part of college, not in the student housing sections.

    You'll see what I mean.

Also, learn how to read and understand your own class recording system. Your school will have some electronic way to register for classes. There will be some report that comes wiht that to tell you how you're progressing and what classes you have to take. Sure you have an adviser, but very often those advisers get something wrong which costs you time and money. Reading it yourself and learning how your schools scheduling works will help ensure that every class you take will count towards your major. You'll see a lot of people get held back and have to take an extra semester or year, or load up with winter/sumer classes becuase they screwed up somwhere because of bad advising.
