depends hwo you see it, lately the rpg genre was pretty heavy too.

EA: "Digital distrubution is too expensive"

They make their very own origin, dont have to pay valve anything to host their games, dont have to pay for shipping or make boxed copies. They pull all games off seam and put them on origin for 60 bucks. Also no"Steam deals" because it "cheapens the price of intelectual property"

They call call of duty annual release "tiring" they are the ones who came up with releasing one medal of honor game every year but stopped becaue they couldnt deliver quality products.

They dont make dungeon keeper, system shock and syndicate games because they cant sell them to console gamers but they take horror outt of dead space 3 because it has to sell 5 million to survive.

Boycott ea and their corporate lies.

one does not simply boycott EA. haha, people respect them for some reason, maybe because of how long they wer on the gaming industry. :\ still you cant help notice how much things are just going to business instead of the games having more awesomeness.

slow-mo bullets for the win! desperate game uniqueness at its best

Yeah, I feel like it's a bad message for the video game industry. It only confirms what many people think of when they think of video games. That they are making kids more violent.

Too much FPS games, well can't agree here. Yes there are many around now. However there are various styles now. You can't compare Modern Warfare 3 and Deux Ex: Human Revolution, yes there are both first person shooters, but they are radically diffrent. Modern Warfare 3 is about "War", while Deux Ex is an RPG where you can shoot, the same goes for Borderlands or Fallout. FPS genre is so big now, just like the RPGs.
