It's been over a decade since I played it but it remains one of my all time favorite RPGs. I remember it being quite and long I believe it took me about 80 hours to complete. The characters and story are very good and the way the combat system works makes it a lot more fun than other turn based RPGs- Please wait. Quick reply will be available shortly.
THE LEGEND OF DRAGOON is fantastic.
Agreed. It is one of the best RPG's on the PS1...and that is saying quite a lot. -combat that keeps you interested/requires attention -great story -deep, well rounded characters
the death scene is far better than the one in FF7. The character actually has quite a lot of screen time and is likable
The bad news is that it is very similar to FF games of that era. The good news is that it is far better than FF7 or 8 IMO

The best anime ever!!!I just came to say this... It might be tempting for you to press the SPOILER tag by Rawsavon but seriously, don't lol... Just don't...
It's pretty tough to give this a long review though since it can be pretty much summarized with one sentence; " a typical PS1 quality jrpg that makes the PS1 so appreciated, worth playing."

- I honestly thought the game was pretty bad. the story was boring, the characters were boring the combat was fun though
I don't think it is that much of a spoiler tbh. You know something happens to someone...but you have no idea who it is or when- Please wait. Quick reply will be available shortly.

yeah, I can see that point of view.
Personally, I still like Final Fantasy VII better personally, but Legend of Dragoon is great for all the reasons you covered for sure.- Please wait. Quick reply will be available shortly.

It was pretty good, but didn't hook me like some of the other jrpgs of the psx did.

I thoroughly enjoyed it but ended up suffering from my Final Fantasy problem, which is to say I fought my through to the final boss of the game and got pounded into pudding; the thought of all the grinding I would have to endure to stand a chance of winning was too disheartening and in the end I never went back to it.
