If anyone in Canada is interested, Future Shop has the following games on sale for $19.99:

    • Army Corps of Hell
    • Asphalt Injection
    • Dungeon Hunter Alliance
    • Lumines
    • Rayman Origins

Best Buy will match the price and give you an additional 10% of the difference, that is their price will be $18.99.

Not sure if it's location specific, but my local Real Canadian Superstore/Loblaws has the following games on sale:

    • F1 2011 for $15.00
    • Ninja Gaiden Sigma Plus for $15.00
    • Ridge Racer for $15.00
    • Unit 13 for $15.00
    • Virtua Tennis 4 for $12.00

While the system and memory cards may not have dropped in price, the games sure have and I for one, like it.

Rayman Origins is very tempting at that price as it puts it more in line with the superior console versions. I would prefer a digital downloaded version at $20, though, so I might wait. Swapping game cards in the Vita is annoying compared to having it all installed.

    Lumines too.

edit - apparently that Superstore sale only applies to stores under renovation - from what I understand the electronics departments are being changed/phased out. I haven't checked my local Superstore, but their game section has always sucked so the drive out there would probably be a waste.

I'm probably going to get both Lumines and Rayman Origins. I always did think Lumines was way overpriced, and Rayman's pricing was unfair based on its other versions.

All the others are quite frankly mediocre games.

Yeah, Unit 13 and Virtua Tennis are mediocre, though VT isn't a horrible buy at that price if a person is somehow starved for games.

I'd argue the others are garbage not worth buying at any price.

Price matched Rayman Origins at Best Buy for $18 - I'd rather have a PSN version so I don't have to worry about losing game carts, but oh well. Can't argue with the price.

They didn't have any copies of Lumines though.

I have to disagree with you on Asphalt Injection - I think it's pretty damn fun.

I'd have prefered to buy a version of Burnout made just for the Vita but since that's not available, this game will do in a pinch and at twenty bucks, that's a fair price.

Anyone know what the PSP/PSN game Burnout Legends looks on the PS Vita? For me, some PSP games look okay, like Tetris, but some look god awful like Pinball Hall of Fame and it'd be a drag to drop ten bucks on that game only to realize my UMD version looks better on the PSP.

Hot Shots Golf and Virtua Tennis 4 both under $20 for PSN+ members this week, looks like there's a decent chance for more PSN store sales on Vita games in the near future.

Nice. My PSN+ finally ended and I'll renew it again when they give more/better Vita deals. Hopefully the memory card prices come down a bit too lol.

Missing HSG at $17 is really going to hurt. It's the perfect price for a game you'd want to whip out any time to play a while, but not so much that you'd want it to take up the cartridge slot.

I just went to Future Shop, but it was the other way around in my case, with no more copies of Rayman Origins in stock. I took a rain check, but you might not be able to get one on a price-match. Maybe stop into Future Shop for a rain check?

Lumines is very nice, and the $20 price point feels just right for it. It's more substantial than most $10 puzzle games, but not enough so for a $40 price tag. I'm happy so far.

I was referring to the Future Shop games, ignoring the Superstore/Loblaws ones, since most people(myself incuded) wouldn't be able to get them there. Most of the Loblaws deals are decent, with the exception of Ridge Racer. Unit 13 is far from mediocre, it's actually a very competent, challenging shooter with a great feel. I'm not sure what sorts of criticisms you would bring against it, other than the fact that its writing isn't quite up to par, and there's no "story" per se. The exclusion of ad-hoc multiplayer is inexcusable, but for $15, I wouldn't hesitate if I had the chance.

Anyway, I know you're extremely critical of games, but I do think "garbage not worth buying at any price" is a little harsh. At worst, Ninja Gaiden is a good port of a great classic.

Fair enough. I've just played that game so many times that yet another port just comes across as insulting.

And Unit 13 is something I'd probably try out if my Superstore had any game selection at all. I'm really burned out on shooters but it sounds decent enough.

I'll try Future Shop for Lumines next. That's the only other Vita game I really want (and I guess it'll bring my collection up to five).

i advise people to get sigma plus and rayman origins. they are classic with great gameplay and graphics. also psvita owners plz buy gravity rush, the game is amazing and sold very few copies. we should support great new ip so that we keep getting them. dont listen to reviews the gravity rush is outstanding and the best vita game available.

Checked my local Superstore/Loblaws and all the sale games were gone except for Harry Potter Years 1-4 for $12.00.
