In this thread, the purpose is to post pictures/lists of your game collections or to post your recent legacy findings. You can compare your collections to other legacy users, talk about places or websites to get legacy games, and help expand each others collections.

You can also recommend games to other users from your collection as well and maybe even sell off some of your own.

Here's a link to my collection with pictures:

    http://www.rfgeneration.com/cgi-bin/collection.pl?action=profile&name=BurningDoom&folder=Collection

The pictures are pretty out of date. But the details of my collection are up to date in my collection list there.

I have 2 Genesises, 1 model 1, and 1 model 2. I had a N64 and Saturn, sold both. I have a PS1, Gamecube, Dreamcast, PS2, used to have Xbox (original) and 1 game gear. My rarest find was a slip up at my local game shop. I wanted Ridge Racer, and when I got home, i realized it was a retail copy, or not for sale. Extremely lucky. A good place for consoles is Collector's Cards and Games. www.collectorscardsandgames.com/ I bought a Sega CD model 1 from them for...... get ready...... 45 DOLLARS! No bidding or nothing.

This is going to have to be a two part post given how many video games I have, but here is the first part. I focused more on the games I own rather than the consoles, but in the first two picks you can see most of them that I own on my entertainment consoles (excuse the mess...).

    P1010070.jpg

    P1010069.jpg

My Genesis Collection and my one 2600 games :p

    P1010057.jpg

    My SNES collection

    P1010065.jpg

    My NES collection

    P1010068.jpg

My N64 collection (minus Star Wars Episode 1 Racer)

    P1010061.jpg

    My Sega SATURN Collection

    P1010072.jpg

My Sega Dreamcast Collection(minus Toy Commander, Dead or Alive 2, and one other game I have stored away at the moment)

    P1010074.jpg

Keep in mind I will post the rest of my video game collection tomorrow (or sometime this weekend).

I just finished up actually :p

I used to have an American Saturn, along with a decent library of games for it, but I sold it probably 5-years ago because I needed the money really badly for college tuition. I've decided if I can ever find an english copy of Panzer Dragoon Saga, Shining Force III, Burning Rangers or some other very valuable/rare for dirt cheap, I might have to start collecting for the NTSC Saturn again. Overall it's just a lot more expensive to collect for and has a lot less games for it than the Japanese version.

haha thanks :p. It took me forever to find one of those without having to break the bank on Ebay. I ended up finding it at a flea market for $35 this spring and was totally estatic about finally owning one. It's the best and most unique N64 model imo. Finding it also allowed me to finally retire my original N64 that I've had since XMAS 1996.

Well, I own a Genesis 2, a SNES, an N64, a Gamecube, and an Xbox (as well as a Wii and Xbox 360).

(Sorry for the grainy images. Iphone)

    l9v7w.jpg

My set-up is a little crude, but it gets the job done.

    28sH7.jpg

    SvzMB.jpg

I own 2 Extreme Green N64 controllers. From what I understand, these are apparently fairly rare and one of the more sought after N64 controllers

    kg65S.jpg

And my rarer games would be DDR: Mario Mix, Dark Rift (N64), and Re-Volt. My rarest game, strangely, is an obscure golf game for the N64 called PGA European Tour. From what I understand, only 10,000 to 12,000 copies were sold worldwide, but it isn't worth much as so few people know about it and it's a terrible, terrible game.

    ZOjXx.jpg

I also recently came across a copy of Worms Armageddon for the N64 (loose) at a flea market. The guy has it on hold for me until I can buy it off of him.

Never thought I would see anyone actually buy Pokemon Conquest. So since you have it is it as bad as they say or is it actually good? Or at the very least, can have some enjoyment out of it?

It's fun. The hate it gets is like the hate Skyrim and Mario Galaxy get. It's all purists and people who don't play strategy games who hate it.

I've liked it so far. I thought it was a cool, original direction for the series to go. I'm also a fan of strategy RPGs, and I love Pokemon, so it was a good matchup imo.

Alright, here's some up-to-date pics. My collection is not as impressive as some, but I feel I have more than the average gamer, at least.

There's a lot of pics here, so be forewarned:

    My Console set-up:

    scaled.php?server=834&filename=gedc0627.

    Consoles:

    scaled.php?server=339&filename=gedc0641.scaled.php?server=832&filename=gedc0640m

The one that says "Wonder Wizard" with the old-school phone-cord, is a Pong Machine.

    scaled.php?server=854&filename=gedc0636zscaled.php?server=9&filename=gedc0637p.j

The SNES is a little yellowed from aging, as you can see.

    scaled.php?server=705&filename=gedc0631qscaled.php?server=703&filename=gedc0633.scaled.php?server=268&filename=gedc0658.scaled.php?server=31&filename=gedc0639a.scaled.php?server=689&filename=gedc0638nscaled.php?server=441&filename=gedc0630.scaled.php?server=9&filename=gedc0632.jpscaled.php?server=864&filename=gedc0634.scaled.php?server=849&filename=gedc0635.scaled.php?server=72&filename=gedc0674.j

The Right Picture Above: From upper-left corner to bottom-right corner: Master Converter that plays Sega Master System games on your Sega Game Gear. Super Game Boy plays Game Boy and Game Boy Color games on your SNES, Gameboy Player plays Game Boy GBC & GBA games on your GameCube, and the Sega Power Base Converter plays Sega Master System Games on your Sega Genesis Model 1.

    scaled.php?server=138&filename=gedc0628.scaled.php?server=20&filename=gedc0648j.

The handhelds are as follows: Microvision (by Milton-Bradley), Game Boy (original model), Game Boy Color (Grape), Gameboy Advance-SP (Silver), Nintendo DS (original model), Sega Game Gear, Neo Geo Pocket Color (Marble-Blue), Coloco Head-To-Head Baseball & Basketball, Electronic Pinball.

    scaled.php?server=401&filename=gedc0659.scaled.php?server=204&filename=gedc0737.

Power Player Famiclone, comes with a bunch of game pre-programmed on the machine, and plays actual Famicom cartridges. The colorful joysticks are T.V. Plug-N-Play games; The Pac-Man collection, and Spider-Man.

    And now the games:

    Atari 2600 Games:

    scaled.php?server=684&filename=gedc0672.

The beat-up label that's hard to see is Asteroids. I used to have like 40 Atari 2600 games. But truthfully, they just gathered dust. So I traded them for games I'd actually play. However, when I come across the games for 1 or 2 dollars, I still pick them up. Just not any more than that. I am into the history of gaming, so their worth it for that at least because what better way to learn about it than to experience it yourself.

    Nintendo NES Games:

    scaled.php?server=853&filename=gedc0681.scaled.php?server=24&filename=gedc0682d.

    Super NES Games:

    scaled.php?server=839&filename=gedc0676vscaled.php?server=24&filename=gedc0677.j

    Nintendo 64 Games:

    scaled.php?server=268&filename=gedc0675e

    GameCube Games:

    scaled.php?server=405&filename=gedc0680r

    Nintendo Wii Games:

    scaled.php?server=19&filename=gedc0679t.

    Sega Master System Games:

    scaled.php?server=708&filename=gedc0700.

    Sega Genesis Games:

I should have 2 more games in this picture, Super Mario Advance 2: Super Mario World and Mega Man Zero 2, but a friend is borrowing both of those games so I didn't have them available.

    Nintendo DS Games:

    scaled.php?server=401&filename=gedc0678.

I used to have more DS games, but I traded a bunch of them to get Skyrim on XBox 360 when it came out.

    Sega Game Gear Games:

    Neo Geo Pocket Color Games:

Game Genies & GameSharks (cheat devices):

Controllers (I left out doubles (2nd player) of the same controller for room):

    Light-Guns:

Gaming Comic Books (All Bagged & Boarded):

    scaled.php?server=838&filename=gedc0717t

Gaming Magazine (All Bagged & Boarded except Game Informer because it's too large to fit):

    scaled.php?server=835&filename=gedc0718.scaled.php?server=268&filename=gedc0719pscaled.php?server=221&filename=gedc0721.

Many, many more issues of Nintendo Power and Game Informer stacked below those issues. I didn't think everyone wanted to see tons of pictures of just those 2 titles.

Alright, here's some up-to-date pics. My collection is not as impressive as some, but I feel I have more than the average gamer, at least.

There's a lot of pics here, so be forewarned:

    My Console set-up:

    scaled.php?server=834&filename=gedc0627.

    Consoles:

    scaled.php?server=339&filename=gedc0641.scaled.php?server=832&filename=gedc0640m

The one that says "Wonder Wizard" with the old-school phone-cord, is a Pong Machine.

    scaled.php?server=854&filename=gedc0636zscaled.php?server=9&filename=gedc0637p.j

The SNES is a little yellowed from aging, as you can see.

    scaled.php?server=705&filename=gedc0631qscaled.php?server=703&filename=gedc0633.scaled.php?server=268&filename=gedc0658.scaled.php?server=31&filename=gedc0639a.scaled.php?server=689&filename=gedc0638nscaled.php?server=441&filename=gedc0630.scaled.php?server=9&filename=gedc0632.jpscaled.php?server=864&filename=gedc0634.scaled.php?server=849&filename=gedc0635.scaled.php?server=72&filename=gedc0674.j

The Right Picture Above: From upper-left corner to bottom-right corner: Master Converter that plays Sega Master System games on your Sega Game Gear. Super Game Boy plays Game Boy and Game Boy Color games on your SNES, Gameboy Player plays Game Boy GBC & GBA games on your GameCube, and the Sega Power Base Converter plays Sega Master System Games on your Sega Genesis Model 1.

    scaled.php?server=138&filename=gedc0628.scaled.php?server=20&filename=gedc0648j.

The handhelds are as follows: Microvision (by Milton-Bradley), Game Boy (original model), Game Boy Color (Grape), Gameboy Advance-SP (Silver), Nintendo DS (original model), Sega Game Gear, Neo Geo Pocket Color (Marble-Blue), Coloco Head-To-Head Baseball & Basketball, Electronic Pinball.

    scaled.php?server=401&filename=gedc0659.scaled.php?server=204&filename=gedc0737.

Power Player Famiclone, comes with a bunch of game pre-programmed on the machine, and plays actual Famicom cartridges. The colorful joysticks are T.V. Plug-N-Play games; The Pac-Man collection, and Spider-Man.

    And now the games:

    Atari 2600 Games:

    scaled.php?server=684&filename=gedc0672.

The beat-up label that's hard to see is Asteroids. I used to have like 40 Atari 2600 games. But truthfully, they just gathered dust. So I traded them for games I'd actually play. However, when I come across the games for 1 or 2 dollars, I still pick them up. Just not any more than that. I am into the history of gaming, so their worth it for that at least because what better way to learn about it than to experience it yourself.

    Nintendo NES Games:

    scaled.php?server=853&filename=gedc0681.scaled.php?server=24&filename=gedc0682d.

Here's a sample for my collection currently in the house. I store a lot of my older stuff in the garage and I don't feel like digging them up.

    My favorite home consoles #1 SNES, #2 PS1 and #3 Xbox 360

My favorite handheld consoles #1 PSP #2 GBA and #3 NDS
