what can cause artifacting ?
- Jul 27, 2012 7:07 pm GMT

i was just wondering, every once in a blue moon ill see some artifacts or very messed up textures in games. i know my card is fine and this is not a help topic. im just curious what can cause this problem, its been months since i saw a single artifact or texture/polygon out of wack. to day i saw one on arma 2 where when you look at a certain house all of a sudden there are these wacky lines everywhere in all different directions. is it the games that can sometimes cause problems like these ?

stuff like this is what is se, on my xbox too from time to time, im under the impression that its the game not loading the textures correctly, because whenever i see this a reboot fixes it- Please wait. Quick reply will be available shortly.

My PC is not a gaming PC in the sense that does not have a GPU that will run games in playable frame rates, other than that is a DX11 GPU that will run any game in any setting
Was xbox 360 based on a 9800 pro of 2003 ?
No, it was based on a 8800GTX of 2006
be caused by damage, overheating, insufficient voltage to the gpu. and it can be caused by combination of bad game coding and video card drivers. What are your temps when it artifacts?- Please wait. Quick reply will be available shortly.
