So I have heard a lot of stuff about how Wii U is going to have games with motion control. However, if I recall correctly, the Wii U will only ship with the U Pad as the controller, right?

So how is nintendo doing to use stuff like the motion control in Skyward Sword, if they don't ship a controller to support it? Will they require people to buy a Wii U Remote and nunchuck, or will each game have its own control options?

We don't know for sure if they are including a wiimote or not in the box. For all our sakes, lets hope they do.

Nintendo hasn't said whether or not the WiiMote will ship with the WiiU yet. I'm not going to get my hopes up.

I didn't think any game was exclusively going to use the wiimote set up was there? Every game in the single player main mode had the Wii U pad support. But I could be wrong. I'm hoping that they have a wii mote straight out of the box for multiplayer's sake though. Not that I need one (already have like, 5 or 6 wiimotes), but for people new to the Wii brand.

Well, the probably figure most who will get had the Wii and got those controllers already.

The problem is with third parties. If they don't include the remote in the box no one will use it. No developer will seriously touch it.
