GameSpot User Rewards - Weekly Challenge!
In additional to the automated profile points you receive on a daily basis, we'll throw you some challenges each week to enhance your profile levels! Well also share emblems and the weeks bonus reward for the week.
These challenges must be met by next Friday, August 17th at 2pm PT.- 200 XP - Comment on the new bloggers feature: Chalk Talk.
- 50 XP - Like another users comment on the Chalk Talk feature page.
- 50 XP - Watch and comment on GameSpots Work Like Dog page.
- 50 XP - Participate in the Best System Wars Shooters Poll.
- 100 XP - Create a blog for the Chalk Talk Assignment: Storytelling.
- 50 XP - Recommend another user for a user review emblem.
Please note, if you have already completed these challenges from August 6th through today, we will give you credit! Completing all of these challenges will place you in a bonus rewards pool. Three GameSpot members this week have a chance to receive a medium sized mystery box.
Upcoming Emblems:
- Chalk Talk emblem: You can receive this emblem if you get featured in the storytelling assignment.
- Lighthouse emblem: I'm so crazy about lighthouses that I created a blog about games that have them! Post a game with a lighthouse in my blog for a chance at the emblem.
- Anniversary emblem: I asked you weeks ago if you created an anniversary blog at some point, and many of you have! Coming this September, were giving users who posted an anniversary blog a chance at an emblem for their 1st, 3rd, 5th, 7th, or 10th year as a GameSpot member. I'm a little confused as to why writing a new chalk talk blog is only worth 100 points while commenting is worth 200 points. The blog requires so much more effort.

So do I, I don't see much of a reason for a blog when the proof is on your profile. All those threads I posted in with people asking how long you have been here but I never once made a blog about it. I need all the emblems I can get though, I have one of the highest counts here I can't let people catch up to me.

I left the room for one second, and my computer illiterate mother thought it would be funny to attack my facebook. So naturally instead of making a new tab, she just went to facebook, trolled me, and closed chrome. 40 minutes of hard work and writing gone, just like that...
