If I redeem Excitebike3D on club nintendo now can i download it in a few months?

Question: I want to use my club nintendo coins to redeem Excite Bike 3D, but I let my friend borrow my 3DS for Kingdom Hearts 3D. If I get Excite Bike 3D now will i be able to redeem the game in like 2-3 months (she has a job now, and takes a while to finish games.)?. What I mean is if I get the game now and my friend gives back my 3DS in like 2-3 months, is it still possible to enter the game code for Excite Bike 3D or whatever it is into my 3DS?
Plz answer soon cuz they will stop offering the game after August 26.

I'm pretty sure you can download it later.
I used coins for the game and got a download code. All the confirmation message said was that it could only be redeemed once, it didn't say there was a time limit.
And when I entered the code on my 3DS I was given the option to download the game now or later.
If you have any serious problems, you can always contact Nintendo - they're customer service is great. I accidently used coins for a game twice and Nintendo corrected the problem without a hassle.
