System Wars is a one of a kind destination where gamers can discuss, rant, and debate about systems, platforms, handhelds and the games. Not many people survive System Wars. The mightiest system warriors back up their arguments with facts.
Rules are simple:

Why can't consolites admit that they're receiving a lesser overall experience?

Consoles, while they do recieve a few worthwhile exclusives every year, are simply inferior machines. You just simply don't get the sameexperience.
1.) Console versions of FPS games areatrocious when compared to their PC counterparts.
2.) Simply terrible graphics. (This is probably the least important negative but it's still relevant.)
3.) 20-30 fps is hardly a playble framerate.
4.) Missing entire genres of games.
5.) More expensive in the long run. (Have fun paying 60$ everytime you want to play the latest 8 hour third personpseudo movie.
6.) Bad online. (60$ a year on XBL? I bount 9 games during steam sale this year for less)
7.) 0 customization. You do what microsoft/sony want you to do. You don;t get to choose how you want to play, your hardware ect.
8.) Awful communities and no dedicated servers.
9.) No high level gaming community. You CAN'T play for money or even a moderatly competitive league.
10.) Controllers. nuff said
11.) Indie game scene is **** on consoles.
12.) Hermits get special treatment from god devs. (Blizzard, Valve)
Every day the gap gets bigger. I honestly doubt next gen kiddyboxes will be able to match most modern high end PCs.

2,3,4,7 and 9 are all undeniably factual.
I play both PC and Consoles, I enjoyed them both. Both offer different experience, consoles are easier to get up to speed, put the disc in (install if there are mandatory installs) and play, simple. PC in the other hand is very customizable with the settings, very good if you know all the settings are all about.
And I strongly disagree with no. 5, I can also buy a lot of console games from stores like Amazon for cheap prices.
