They should really do a remake for a ps3 too with actually modern graphics and Move compatibility. I'd buy it, like I did back in 1997 for N64.

I hope these videos are still from the beta. Good God, RE:4 on Gamecube looked better than this.

@ Bicyclewheel - You do realize that you can wait and wait and wait for them to re release the original on Wii Virtual Console, XBL Arcade, etc etc but that's all you'll be doing - waiting. Rare developed the original, published by Nintendo. Rare is owned by M$ now. Thing is, the video game license for Bond is owned by Activision now. So, even if Rare wanted to, they DO NOT own the rights to re-release the game. If they did want to, they'd have to call it something else and take out ANYTHING related to the original or Bond in general, which we'd probably get a faceless game with the same gameplay. Not really the same thing. Nintendo knows Rare can't re release the original, and they can't either, since they as well don't own the rights. Of course, Activision can't copy the original EITHER because it wasn't developed by them and they'd be ripping off Rare. See what's going on here?? This is THE ONLY OPTION anyone has. I don't see the problem. Remember when they released that horrible "Golden Eye" Bond game? THAT was capitalizing off of the Goldeneye name. It had NOTHING to do with the original. We all pissed and moaned about and now, they decide to give you guys a true homage, a true remake (which is all they CAN DO) and we STILL b**ch and moan. You WILL NOT be getting the original re-released. Noggin-a-happen. Only way would be if M$ somehow scooped up the license 10 years from now (Which is how long Activision holds it).

I know its made for Wii only.. but man Wii graphics and getting behind the times man... If its not the graphics what is it that will push nintendo for the next 10 years it certainly wont be DS as Apple is chewing them out!

I've been a fan of FPS's since Wolfenstein 3D and I have been a huge fan of Nintendo's since NES. Plus, Goldeneye on 64 was probably my favorite time of gaming in my life (alone and with friends.) All this being said, I guess I don't understand the point of calling it, "Goldeneye." It seems they could have just as easily called it anything else. The only guess I can come up with is money. Which is fine. Nintendo is a business and they must make money to survive. Sometimes that means exploiting old popular titles. I just wish they would acknowledge the hard core fans and release the original Goldeneye with internet play capabilities. That's all the true fans have wanted all along. The one Rare made. Rare didn't even have anything to do with this attempted name cash-in. No one was walking around hoping they would re-imagine (or whatever) Goldeneye with Daniel Craig (the anti-gun nut by the way) instead of Brosnan. Nobody even used the Bond character in the vast majority of the multiplayer games I've played in Goldeneye. This new one doesn't interest me or anyone else I've spoken to in the slightest. It just looks like yet another modern FPS being jammed into an already clogged market. I guess I'll go back to my 64 and COD on the 360 for my FPS fixes until Nintendo decides to give us die-hards what we've been asking for since online play has come to exist on consoles and I'll just keep using my Wii for all it seems to be good for: Mario Kart and Wii Sports.

I hope Eurocom does well with this one, like they did other Bond games (N64 version of World is Not Enough and Console versions of Nightfire).

LOL at the end: "Are you going to kill me?"

I suppose 'This time it's on me' is their own version of the proper "This time, Mr. Bond, the pleasure will be all mine"? It looks like- I dunno- there's mo-cap in the cutscenes? What's the point of this trailer? Are they expecting us to be surprised that there's mo-cap? Looks like they've outdone themselves in trying to put the bond theme over the most mundane thing they can think of- in this case a guy grabbing a rope. Yep- only James Bond could ever grab onto a rope... Still can't believe we lost the real -Rare- Goldeneye remake for this poor excuse of a game.

God. I wish I'm allowed to do that! Nowadays, all mature action games, whenever you see action in cutscenes or if you're really playing those games, it looks kinda natural and cool if kung fu meets videogames. Rise of Honour with Jet Li is a good example. Anyway, full respect to the guy who's going to work on the action side for Daniel Craig and the rest for not Goldeneye but also Bloodstone as well.

Well, that's disappointing... Daniel Craig as opposed to Pierce Brosnan? Seems a waste personally. I can understand if it's a licensing/contract issue, but it's at least the most obvious difference between the original and this re-release.
