1 Like While I love GTA, the biggest turnoff, for me at least, is that none of the GTA games (four and earlier) had the checkpointing system. I didn't beat any of the GTA games, but I've played them quite a bit. The checkpointing is probably, and unfortunately, the thing that made me not beat them. I always feel like going back to them, but then I always just think "No, there's a chance I won't beat them like the last time."
Sounds very good. As expected. I'm gettin' it. Hell, a package of both episodes that doesn't require the original GTA IV, that's just what I was waiting on - aye, it's been over a year, didn't know it had happened 'till now, hah.
well i have all the games. the lost and damned isnt that fun and the ballad of gay tony is a blast. there are some really good cheats for the ballad of gay tony
1 Like This is one of my all-time favourites in the series because it's like having two games in one. Both of them are just as good, if not better than GTA IV.
just finished IV and this one is after bayonetta and assassins creed brotherhood so i can't wait :D
I really want to buy this but I'm afraid it will get stale because I've already beaten GTA 4 or if I should get duke nukem instead
GTA IV will always be known as "The GTA game with performance issues, censored gameplay and a small world" I however, think that altough this is way different than SA, it's still a very good game with loads of nice content. And unlike SA, this world is very detailed. The number of easter eggs and special places in GTA IV is 800+
All I have to say is this is yet another example of how gamespot is a huge group of fanboys when it comes to certain games IE gta, cod, and PS3 exclusives.
@rogerseagle both expansions are very good. They each have different exclusive guns. Lad has the fully auto 9mm and striker. Bogt has the gold 9mm uzi, Aa12, and the magnum. Both games are sick and worth playing though Lad had better missions and a better story. Bogt had some really poor missions like going to a dance club to dance with some slutt and get her to hit on you.

Ballad of gay tony>lost and the damned... But I liked the main story in GTA 4 with Roman and Nickola the most..
i hope they make hd version of gta3 ,gta vc and gta sa and relese it for ps3 and xbox360 thats will bring a lot of memores for fans of the game
I have played all GTAs and I have to say my fav are still SA and Vice city. I have no idea why they gave 10/10 to GTA 4. It was ok but nothing special. SA was much better with HUGE areas to explore, lots of stuff to do, missions were funny and unique and chanracters were very nice. GTA 4 was just repetitive stuff with few good stuff. Though this looks good to me and will play it. Didnt want to buy due to big GTA 4 disappointment.
It sucked and made no sense why GTA BOGT had no fully auto striker shotgun or Auto 9mm. I hope the next GTA game is more violent and has a chainsaw and a lot of guns and custimization like san andreas.
