I played the first weekend a little bit, and played a ton on the second weekend. I finally got my Charr out of the starting area and have to say that they seem to make every class a blast to play. Also they had a closing event involving corrupting players and a dragon that was by far the best event I have seen in any mmo I've ever played. Period. I'm not going to insult anyone that doesn't care for it (it is different enough that it may not appeal to some) but I have to say for me it's by far the best mmo I've ever played. The only area that I'm not sure about is crafting which is a big draw for a lot of people... including me.
Iīve been playing this game since the first beta weekend...And i can tell...All the other games become dull when compared to GW2!
Crap...I canīt even have desire to play other games =/
1 Like Pity that release date is not annouced yet, I wanna preorder this but I have my doubts if I should do it this or next month, having some personal plans so I don't wanna spend money yet, would be much easier if we knew the date :D
1 Like @Sky_Stifler If you have plans then I would go with the plans first. Don't get me wrong, Guild Wars 2 is a phenomenal game and a must buy, but there are still a lot of things I have seen to show they aren't ready for release yet. I'm expecting a holiday release to be honest. The game already has a lot of polish, but with what they've already done with feedback, I"m assuming they're going for a lot more polish.

Do we have a release date for this yet? I really need to know when it is coming out. This is the game I have been waiting for, for years!
4 Like This game looks promising but I refuse to get hyped about another MMO until it's been out for at least a few months and I've seen plenty of positive reviews. Been burned too many times.
2 Like @Breyant As someone who has played the beta, I was extremely pleased with this game in comparison to the vast majority of MMOs out there - even ones with a monthly fee. I actually enjoyed to quest while leveling and didn't feel like I was doing remedial tasks. The player interaction aspect of the game is incomparable to every MMO out there.
@Breyant Just like any new MMO, subs will start dropping like flies after a month or two :-P
