I've really gotten used to and enjoy Halo 3 controls. Reach and Halo 4 have it as Recon, so I am a happy camper.

Default Reach isn't Bumper Jumper. IIRC jump on Reach is still the A button, while melee is at RB or LB. Regardless, I know that A is jump and B isn't melee.

Reload/Action can be on either X or RB for me, I can change between those 2 just fine.
But for melee on B, I agree, as it just feels wrong for me anywhere else. I know its technically not the most convenient button for it since you gotta move right thumb off the stick, but still.

Agreed, and why is it Halo has absolutely no audio options? I have to play music from the xbox and pause it to have no music playing, and then I run the risk of not hearing any dialogue, the **** is that ****? As nice as the music is, the real music to me is gunfire and explosions mixed with all the small things, like shells and clips hitting the ground.

Right trigger = shoot
Left trigger = grenade
Couldn't care less about the rest.
It could be completely different from the other games.
I'll get used to it in less than 10 minutes.

Bumper jumper has reload mapped to B in Halo: Reach. In fact, reload has never been RB with bumper jumper.

You think that's bad, play killzone 3. Very awkward control setup(completely different from KZ2). I had to buy an attachment to my controller just to remap the buttons for it to be playable.

I switched to bumper jumper in Reach, and liked it a lot. I hear it's bad with jetpack, but I never use jetpack anyway.

custom controlls should be in..this is next gem theres no excuse to let you change the layout to whatever you feel best with. at least have the choices youve had in all the other games
