    Damn I remember when gamespot was the place to go to talk about games just look at this forum....sad.

    Anyways my score bet is a 9.5/10 as it will never completely satisfy me as I always wanted a more mature Halo game with gore and destructive enviroment but this is hands down the best Halo to date besides the original game anyways.

    Everything I've seen and read makes this proof that 343 can do a better job than the original team could glad Bungie isn't involved anymore they were not willing to make changes that yes could be risky but make it a better experience. Yes yes I know a lot of the team is with 343 but not all of them, just the best of them.

    Reach looks like a sad joke compared to this.

    Gamespot recently separated their forums from gamefaqs. Most of the people are on the gamefaqs forums. Just click the arrow next to Halo 4 Forum, and it will show the gamefaqs forum link.

    First of all, Halo wouldn't be the same with destructable envirionments or more gore. That's not Halo, that's Battlefield. Secondly, how can you ever base a game off of what you have read? Bungie was an amazing developer, and they have proved themselves through Halo. I wish they were still in charge of making the games.

    That's only your opinion. In my opinion, only one Halo game is above a 9.0, and that's Halo: Combat Evolved. Every sequel/prequel after that has been a dissapointment. The multiplayer got better but the singleplayer has gotten progressively worse. Halo 3: ODST and Halo: Reach are terrible, I didn't care about any of the characters and the campaigns were totally boring.

    I think the biggest improvement is the loadouts in multiplayer. I cant wait to get online with this game.

    Reach was one of the best in the series. The story was so gripping and sad. Halo 3 was the weakest for me and I didn't like ODST at all.

    I just played it and I predicted a 9.5 on IGN forums, lol. The prologue and opening cinematic are that damn good.

    The prologue might be impressive but the rest of it is not, very disappointed so far :/

    The issue i had with the story of reach was that i already knew how it was going to end. They told us in the trailers. noble dies chief doesn't. couldn't keep interest. Im hoping the multiplayer has the element to keep me interested for as long as 3 did
