I would've liked to see the covenant though and i wanted it to focus on master chief but instead it seems as though the focus is on that random soldier and chief is just a side character that shows up time to time

Live Action + video games = FAIL! This is a horrible trailer that doesn't give one single bit of info, totally pointless and bad acting. lol

Wow!  I totally dig these Live Action trailers!  Of course I could be as critical as most of ya'll and rip this to shreds, but until real Halo movie gets made, I'll take these types of  trailers anytime and I'm curious as hell what that Oct release is going to reveal!

I guess pornstars were too expensive..this is like grade F- acting.

I love Halo but I think this is an attempt to appeal to younger kids, it's looks soo tame, even the acting. After Halo Reach, a sort of darker Halo both emotioanlly and visually, a Live Action Halo series should look better than this trailer suggests.

But still, I'm hoping to be surprised.

I love Halo games but this is crap is totally unnecessary if they want to promote the damn game they should release a beta or a demo not this teenage Halo tv show

I'm afraid that I must agree with Krinnium, this is terrible. All the suits look like some bad e3 costume. And all the actors clearly need to go back to thier roles in bad dramas. Plus, the whole storyline of this 3min video looked like it was done by a child who has no idea what halo is and what makes the games so great. It looks like they put alot of effort into making this, but it really does only look as bad as a steriotype movie such as starship troopers.

Good job at making halo (and indeed all war games) look like they have no storyline, when infact they have much more storyline than most movies.

also the whole "Chief, behind you!" bit made me laugh. masterchief has been knee deep in alien assholes for basically his entire career, and anything that kid has to say he probably already knows. the idea that they would drop in behind enemy lines to assault enemy objectives also made me laugh. they brought up an ancient success story, when all they need to do is look up operation market garden. its a much more similar scenario, and look how that ended up. 

if that whole scene, up until masterchief's arrival, wasnt inspired by Roughnecks Starship Troopers idk what was. the whole, fall in love, get a rival, and the day youre leaving war breaks out. its all been done before, devs, and i really hope the game doesnt continue the story of a bunch of whiney love struck teenagers. 

I hope it turns out ok, but for now, IT SUCKS. Why don't they pay a real director or company for this material. It looks like a soap opera with bad acting. 

I love Halo as much as the next person, but really, really this kind of crap is not needed. I can't believe the amount of money they waste just to make this sub-par at best material. For instance, the locker scene and then the next clip of the fight, hello, "Ender's Game" much? That's the glaringly obvious one I think for most people.

Please stop wasting money on this shit.

The movie looks cool but sorry the acting is really poor, especially from those two kids.

AWESOME! This showcases Halo 4's graphics, gameplay, weapons, multiplayer... everything.  This wasn't a complete waste of time!  AND it got me so psyched for Halo 4 just like a preview video should.  They must have so much $ at microsoft that they spend it on pointless chit like this.  Here's a thought.  How about spending it on developing a better graphics engine than the last 2 Halo games.  Or better yet.... showcase your next gen  system!!     bitter much? lol

Looks like some SyFy garbo, those kids look really ridiculous in those costumes lol. What a waste of money. The need to make a proper Halo movie if they want me to watch it. This really reminds me of those Mortal Kombat mini web series, they had some nice effects but the story didnt make any sense.
