I am so excited for this! They fixed everything and more that I always wanted changed in multiplayer from the other games and added so much more content. It will be near impossible for Halo fans to get bored with this game anytime soon! And for people comparing it to CoD or anything, it is a very different game with a very different online system that may have similar mechanics that have been around for awhile. No big deal, nothing is really original anymore so get over it and enjoy games that do it right!

@Xman4787 Wargames isn't a gametype. It's the new name of competitive multiplayer mode. They call it wargames instead of just matchmaking like it was before. All of the gametypes and playlists are in wargames.

I really like Halo, and I'm really excited for this game, and I think it will be really good, but couldn't they come up with a better name that "Spartan Ops"? That sounds exactly like Call of Duty's "Special Ops", and it plays somewhat the same as well. I think Spartan Ops will be fun, but come on, get an original name already.

Just from looking at the one that leaked picture, it's two disks. So does anyone know if the first one is campaign and second is mp or if it's like the first is just a download disk?

@NicholasT33 no, the second disc is essentially an installation pack needed to run Halo 4. the first disc is all you'll need after you install the second disc. make sure you have 8 gb of space on your hdd!

really like the idea of throwing the oddball, sounds like it'll fix the problem of people hiding in the corner of the map while everyone else plays team slayer

I, and i'm pretty sure there were others had there doubts about 343 taking on Halo but after seeing this video, i think they out done themselves and i dare say that may have even exceeded Bungie in doing Halo because they have a higher expectation than Bungie to live up to and they have and made me tear up as i watched this video

So the Spartan 1-50 ranks dont say anything about skill at all??

you earn EXP in all those modes including Forge, and you cannot rank down..

They couldve added a separate Trueskill rank for each playlist, like Halo 3. At least for Slayer Pro and Team Swat! Its what kept people playing Halo 3 years after release..

Also, no Team Doubles??

@brainiac1988 I agree with you that the ranks should be more like Halo 3 or Reach (I personally really like Reach's system), but you could never rank down, and Forge Mode always gave a small amount of xp.

So they basically copied everything in cod ? Weapons unlock, Killstreaks, skills and moar. I just hope it doesn't get to a point where everyone is OP, I remember in reach some people were max level within a month from the release.

@ilantis I don't think so. COD does not own "weapons unlock" or "killstreaks". Those are mechanics found in many FPS's. I think as long as the central core of the game stays Halo, then they aren't additions that will make the game unbalanced. Using your example, max level in Reach didn't make anyone more powerful than anyone else. And I think that will be the same in Halo 4 as well.

kill cams is a stupid idea for anyone who finds good sniping spots! Also I don't like the idea of increased vehicle play. Always hated those players who just drive around in ghosts on certain maps
