Definitely looking forward to its release. I have a lot of confidence in 343 and SO FAR, they haven't let me down in terms of what I have seen. People need to give them more of a chance and stop hating just because Bungie isn't involved. If Bungie had so much pride and confidence in this Series in the first place, they would have never given up the rights. Halo 4 is going to be EPIC!!! Halo is what put Xbox on the map, don't ever forget that fanboys...

@abhusi not really the reapers are predatory, whereas the forerunners are more like guardians. Needless to say, Halo was around before ME so idk if your comparison is valid
Although Master Chief's story is very close to Captain America it still would make an awesome series of movies if done right.

2 Like Well in case your wondering, most of the people who worked on Halo 4 used to work for bungie, but left bungie so they can continue to work on Halo games. Also I think you will like this Halo game. I have a friend who played it at E3 and PAX and he said that Halo 4 is way better then Reach and Halo 3 put together, because he said that the game was almost like Halo 3 and Reach put together. The way he described it, they took the best out of Halo 3 and took only the best out of Halo Reach and combined them together. Also he said, they are separating multiplayer and campaign on different discs because multiplayer is going to be big and the campaign is going to be decently long(Specially on Heroic and Legendary) the way he understood.
I dont know, i did enjoy halo by bungie though after one the games didnt seem as long and explorable as the first one. Reach was pretty good, with odst having potential. 4 looks like might be good though be pretty mad if game under 12 hours and is about multiplayer. i miss shooters when they were 16 hours long. maybe 20 if took time to explore everything.

@JamesThePrince If you never played halo, then you don't know that as great of a game it is, no one would ever say that it's as easy to pick up or accessible as a call of duty game. And for that reason alone, it will never take CoD off its pedestal. A quick synopsis of halo, 26th century, discovery of slipspace drive has made humans really busy moving around in space. They discover a largely theologically driven race that adopted technology from a much MUCH more advanced race. That more advanced race is the adversary in Halo 4

2 Like @CivilizedPsycho The Prometheans are the "Forerunners" of humanity. This is hinted at in other games, which is why in Halo 3, the covenant needed a human to access Foreunner technology because it was built for them.

With the way they do market Halo I swear they should've made a movie already if only they didn't lose funding for it! And all because the director only made short films...until he got his big break with District 9 that is.

I don't think it should be Doc Halsey though, before he was kidnapped her only interaction with him was at his school when she did the coin flip test, it was prolly his moher but he doesn't remember his real mom so he see Doc Halsey.
He still lived with his parents untill he was eight or something, then replaced with a clone. So on the beach it's more than likely his birth mother.
