Tom Tsquared Taylor and Kelly Mrs. Violence check out Halo 4 at E3 including a pro MLG tournament.
I would like to see more character customization in Halo 4. A wider range of armour, designs and skins to set everyone's character apart. Aswell as insane multiplayer too ofcourse
I'm actually impressed with TSquared. He did some good commentary there. Good job TSquared.
The game actually looks pretty decent. Reach has left me disappointed so I'm curious to see if 4 can bring back the joy of 3's multiplayer.
microsoft wont exactly loose money if they release this on pc. more people will buy it. They wont exactly loose money from xbox sales as im pretty sure every1 that wants an xbox has one by now
@alexbartle Agreed, and I'm definitely no PC fanboy. At this point, there's really no reason to avoid the PC. Halo sales have kind of topped out at 7 million or so and they're not gonna do any better until it sees another market. Of course, they could be perfectly happy earning a consistent 7mil sales and making the game Halo fans want to play, and I can respect that. I'm sure we'd all prefer a smaller game made for a franchise's fans than a multiplatform game streamlined to heck so it will sell.
Not going to buy this one right away. Ive made enough mistakes buying Call of Duty games that i didn't like so im not trying to do the same thing all over again.
@Extremegamerxs how does Halo got to do with COD? the game is very designed differently. COD = corridor shooter & cinematic experience. Halo = generic shooter with a sandbox battlefield design even BF3 singleplayer fail to have that experience.
i said generic = the FPS gameplay has change much for the last 5 iteration because changing too much fans might not be happy.
@Extremegamerxs well its a good thing that Halo doesnt come out every year as the same game like call of duty. Trust me this game will be amazing
You know, to hell with CoD and Battlefield; neither of them can touch Halo, and this looks like the best one yet....
Not sure where either of the two hosts in this clip come from but they are terrible. They just sound like a couple of marketing reps hired by Mircrosoft, which maybe they are.
@SuperChin noob alert - anyone that knows anything about video games should have at least heard of those two, especially Tsquared. They are top tear players, come on!
@SuperChin They are both MLG halo players... not marketing reps
@SuperChin You can't be serious. Nobody is stupid enough to believe that lol. Could it be that they were just excited about what is shaping up to be a solid game?
My God!!! These are champions at halo multiplayer??? WILL SOMEONE PLEASE GIVE THEM A MOUSE AND A KEYBOARD!!!
@evil_m3nace Actually, they once had a tournament between PC gamers playing Halo vs. console players playing Halo. The PC gamers were murdered. PC gamers may be a better shot, but outside of hammering the jump button, they're terrible at dodging and a good Halo grenadier can take full advantage of that.
Yawn same old crap tbh...
I'd love to know how this is unique or different in anyway, it's basically the same scenario as CoD different maps new armors, best thing about this video was probably laughing at the geeks playing that game all be it was very cringe worthy.
@Keitha313 Yeah, but Halo fans have been desperately crying out for a return to Halo 2's terrific multiplayer, and by extension the original CE, for years now. Simply returning to something akin to the original formula, which I believe is the goal for Halo 4 (I hope), is pretty darn earth-shattering for Halo fans. Also, Halo games tend to have great stories, and a new story arc in the universe is all the "new" some of us needs.
@Keitha313 The opinion of Sony fangirls is of no concern to the honest among us. Your obsession over Halo is pretty funny though.
@swamptick Oh look, I see you can make a point extremely well by calling Sony fans not just fanboys but fanGIRLS (you surely will win an argument that way). Also, you said Keitha313's obsession over Halo was "pretty funny". I find that interesting seeing as you're the one protecting Halo with your life (not to mention the Halo profile picture). So I'm guessing you're a "pretty funny" guy.
@swamptick thats funny...coming from an obvious halo fanboy...
@Keitha313 I'm sorry but this is Halo not CoD, if anything it's the same scenario as previous Halo games, which will in turn make it reign supreme over that CoD crap
@Keitha313 COoLL, COD HAs nEw ArMOR!!....
Seems like this is just what Halo needs. Just a few tweaks and additions, but keeping the look and feel the same.
Just because it has some CoD and/or isn't CoD doesn't mean its trash and/or is selling out. It just means its moving forward.
Both Halo and CoD MP are painfully boring now, but this looks like its giving both formulas a shot in the arm.
Hopefully CoD takes notes and actually changes something on their end. Comparing Halo 4 to CoD Black Ops II is like comparing a shiny, fresh, delicious apple with an old, smelly, rotten potato... CoD is the potato.
Gets my seal of approval!
MS will spend millions trying to make this generic FPS appear cool, then the brainwashed fans will say "looks so cool". ;-)
@ClaudiusCaesar Generic FPS's don't have good stories. Diehard multiplayer gamers tend to forget a lot of us play Halo because we want to see what happens to the Master Chief, or what will happen to Cortana now that she has been corrupted, or the true extent of the Forerunner's defense network, or the fate of the rogue AI and the Flood, etc. It's basically the same reason why many people loved Mass Effect, but for some reason, FPS'ers can't see it because Halo isn't an RPG. Non-RPG's can have lovable characters too.
And hey, Halo still has the best driving mechanics, music, and most fun to use grenades out there. Absolutely nothing generic here. Maybe the franchise is getting milked, but it's some darn fine milk they're producing and I'm perfectly happy to partake in that milk until something changes.
Ok, so get off the forum and go follow whatever it is you follow. You don't know jack. Yet you spend your time hating. Halo is successful for a reason, beyond the scope of your puny little imagination. You know what I LOVE to ask haters? WHY DON'T YOU MAKE A BETTER GAME> EXACTLY, SHUT UP LOSER.
@ClaudiusCaesar You should replace MS with Activision.
@ClaudiusCaesar Why don't you stop badmouthing halo and go back to your cod
u so cOol. caN I haz autograf?!
