Okay, so I've played this game about 5 or 6 times now, scouring the environment for ANY assistance, but I still can't open that damned safe in the final chapter of the game! I assume it has something to do with the list of 8 women found in the room, but I don't know how to use it! I've tried both alphabetical and numerical safe combos, converted the first letters of each name into numbers, and tried rearranging the letters of the names to form a word that would make sense in the context of the game, but nothing! I don't need a straight up answer, but if anyone has opened the safe, at least a solid hint would be appreciated. Thanks!

I know how you feel bro. I got stuck playing Bioshock 1 after opening the safe, well it was a game-breaking glitch, all you need is a code.

Maybe its the old, but good 1337.

I remember when i was playing Deus Ex : Human Revolution - i used that code on the first hackable door. IT WORKED. I WAS PSYCHED.

WHO WE ARE IS BUT A STEPPING STONE

    TO WHAT WE CAN BECOME.

ah, thaks for the pep talk, man, but whatever the combo is, its 8 digits long. And it doesn't specify whether its alphabetical or numerical. So I guess I'll just keep flying blind haha.

I couldnt find it either. I actually found this thread by searching for the damn code. I notice there was limited edition physical copy of the game that came with a map and other game docs, Im wondering if the code was written on one of those?

I looked at the image of the physical edition they have on their site. I note there is a floppy disk with 4.1.7.5. written on it, I be thats half the code right there. Unfortunately thats bugger all use to us but it does support my theory.

DUDE IT IS LIKE WE ARE PSYCHICALLY LINKED HERE. I had the SAME idea today looking at the site. I heard that the code was available in the special edition, AND saw those numbers on the floppy. I almost shot myself. I thought, "How simple is this? The code is RIGHT THERE!" I assumed that the dots (which could also be used) were part of the code; as in all 8 digits were visible, including periods. So that 4.1.7.5. becomes an 8 digit code (you have to use the period on the number pad/right side of your keyboard). However, I tried it, and it didn't work. Maybe we're all missing something really obvious here? There's no way we can all be this stupid

If it IS only in the Special Edition I was thinking we could wait for a walkthrough......but how do you write a walkthrough for this game? Its pretty much impossible to get stuck, the point is the atmosphere and the different ways to go through it. Still maybe we will get lucky and some nice SE user will see this thread and throw us a line
