So after playing this game, I've decided that it's the best Kirby game by a decent margin. Regardless if you agree with that or not, would you guys consider buying this game again if it was released on the 3DS, possibly with extra features (META KNIGHT AND OTHERS IN SINGLE PLAYER)? I'd happily drop $40 for this game to be on a portable. I think portable consoles are where Kirby belongs because it's such a pick up and play kind of game. You can have fun with it if you play for 5 minutes or 2 hours.
So yeah, would you pay full price for this game a second time to be able to play it in the 3DS?

The 3ds is not gonna be able to handle this game's graphics, despite how much people underestimate it and think this can be played on GC (which it definitely can't)
That being said, I'd get it only if there're significant gameplay changes and/or significant extra content (aka more challenge rooms, extra boss/world, or something).

What makes you say the Gamecube/3DS couldn't handle this? The graphics aren't anything spectacular, and the game only loads one segment at a time.

have you noticed how gorgeous the setting is? The background in every level, and how beautifully detailed they are?
though I guess I might be underestimating the power of the GC, but if this was a GC game then I would say it has amazing GC graphics.
kinda off-topic at this point though haha

I'm going to get this game on the GBA.

A teenage detective who turns into a little boy that solves murders?
That's almost as silly as a magic notebook that kills people.

Only if it has worthwhile content like bonus worlds, more ability challenges, and being able to solo the game with the other characters after beating with it Kirby.

Have any of you played Star Fox Adventures? That was a start-of-generation Gamecube game and it was rushed and incomplete (they didn't even have time to code the fight against the Big Bad, to everyone's disgust). However, it looks outstanding, and better than many end-of-generation games.
And despite its flaws, it's still a very good game, and I've played it several times and enjoyed it thoroughly, but I'm always disappointed when I reach that "boss fight".

If it has these things:
-Checklist from Kirby Mass Attack
-Bronze/Silver/Gold Stars from Kirby Mass Attack
-Secret levels
-Fighting Meta Knight, Waddle Dee, and King Dedede as indivdual bosses
-Controls from Kirby Superstar
-Better Sub Games (except for Arena and True Arena)
-Streetpass and Spotpass
-Helper system from Kirby Superstar
-Meta Knightmare Ultra
-King Dedede mode
-Multiplayer
...then yeah. I'd go for it.

Do you mean the waddle dee fight from KSSU's Revenge of the King? trololol

Gotta be honest here, I prefer Kirby on the home console.
I see the appeal of pick up and play Kirby on the handheld consoles, and he's got some very good game on the handhelds.
But I actually prefer the sound quality of KSS over KSSU. The home console does make a difference, especially when comparing other games such as SMA4 to SMB3 on SMAS.

No. I mean, Waddle Dee with the Spear can fight you, but you can't swallow him.

Yeah, but I didn't like where the Guard button was replaced and the game would've felt comfy to play with the Classic Controller.

Yeah that was a little off-putting. Moving your thumb from the D-pad to block is never a good idea. It could have easily been the B button, but I guess they though that would be too awkward.

Especially the Scope Shot subgame, where you had to press the A button to shoot. It would've felt more comfy if it was mapped to the B button.

Yeah I kinda wish the defend button was mapped to B, but I got used to using the A button. Besides that, the controls work fine and are basically the same as KSS/KSSU's controls (only difference is missing a helper button, but helpers obviously aren't in this game, at least the same type as KSS/KSSU's)

I never got used to the A button, yet I know the controls worked fine and they were pretty close to Superstar's controls.
