The original was a Playstation game. It also got a straight port on the PS2's Japan-only NamCollection. There was a sequel on the PS2 as well. I really dislike the new voice. It can supposedly be changed back to the original high-pitched one, though. The new voice makes me wonder if they've made him speak english in this port rather than the Phantomilian gibberish featured in most of the old titles. It's a good game and hopefully among the sparse selection of really great Wii titles it might gain some popularity. Way back when, platformers were a bit more common so it's not hard to see why the original was largely overlooked.
