The original L4D was a great game, but had it's flaws. The sequel takes those flaws and eliminates nearly all of them, but it doesn't stop there. L4D2 is a much larger game than L4D was. Valve has gone above and beyond to make sure the game is varied and doesn't get old quickly. Each campaign has its own distinct flavor and style with music and uncommon infected to fit the setting. The original L4D campaigns feel dry and boring in comparison. If there is any problem with the game it is the difficulty. L4D2 is far more difficult than the original. Some parts of the game feel downright cruel. I could fly through L4D campaigns on Advanced pretty easily. On L4D2 I have died multiple times on Normal. The Source engine is also starting to look not quite up to par at times. Some textures are blurry and it isn't as detailed as other new games. These minor complaints aside, this is a great game. I picked it up for $30 on Black Friday. Well worth the money.
