Lego Batman Video Review 1

Is it a good one-player game or is it required to play along side a friend to have fun?

This has to be one of the shortest reviews I have ever watched. Not good.

i love this game

This guy's review is a bit harsh. I have my girlfriend to play this game with, and the vehicle sections actually aren't that bad. In fact I prefer them to Lego Star Wars, which just seemed to be so chaotic to the point you were dying every few seconds. I like the style and design of this game a lot more, even if the humor aspect isn't the high-point of the experience.

I played the demo on PS3 and thought it was great.. I'm getting the 09 Holiday 360 Bundle with this included and am looking forward to it.. Just from what I played of the demo this review seemed way off.

well i'm having a laugh playing it... it's good fun to play when you want to do something with a friend who isn't mad about gaming

I just got this game two days ago, and it's lots of fun to play. Plus, the guy doesn't sound like he played through the whole game, because he said that the Sonic suit doesn't hurt your enemies, when it actually does if you get a upgrade for it.

I thought this game rocks, and that LEGO Indie wasn't that good, and all the other sites, and players, give the game a much higher score...

lego indy had really good ai, it was always in the right place for me

I got this game a couple of days ago and this game isnt that bad as he says it is.

Well, at first i thought that he was doing okay but when it got going i can see the past reviews truth. But it doesn't really matter to me as long he at least reviews the game right. But like the other comments, the review does repeat many aspects that we have know through the Lego series beginning with the Star Wars versions. I believe he just winged this review because he gives comments saying how the game is so bad and some that is good and ends it off by saying this is worth playing. At first he compares Indiana against Batman which has nothing to do with how the game is worth playing. I say this guy should work on his skills because right now its rubbish.

This doesn't even sound like a review...first, the guy who's saying the stuff is very very very very verry dull at it. second of all, it sounds like a debate video on why he thinks Lego Indy is better then Lego batman, and why lego batman is the most dissapointing game ever, with so much cons, you'd think that the game would get a 3/10

Will this guy ever manage to upload a video review thats longer than say 3 mins?!? Plus how the flamin f00k can Lego indiana jones have the same score as SR2???? there in completely different leagues.

Is it just me or was this quite possibly the most halfassed review I have ever heard or seen?

I agree if somebody thinks that review was confusing so try ign's video review it is much more helpful and pro lego.

I dont get it he is bagging it out one minute then saying it is definately worth playing ??????? Most games that get a six point 5 are not worth playing

sorry game spot gotta agree with every one here worst review ever the reviewer needs to sound more intrested in what hes doing a review on and hes wrong about the ai they r better this time they can kill this time in star wars and indie they just hit doing no damage this time they r a help with the bosses

The game is horrible. Definately worth playing??? Are you lost? The basic reason they make the lego games is for the novelty of playing your desired character in a slightly quirky world. That is honestly all they have to offer. If you are in it for a genuine gameing experience, then lego may not be the best game. But I love batman, and they know it. No matter how bad the game is, as long as it holds their name, people will buy it.

All of the good reveiwers have gone and we are left with boring terrible reviewers

That review is all over the place. So it's a crap game that's definately worth playing? Pfft.

I had a post on the forums about gamespot's reviews, but it got locked because it didn't match gamespot's forum criteria - yeah right! It was because I criticised them allot! One of my points were the last 3 games I played: Transformers 6.0/10, Too Human 5.5/10 & Mercs2 5.0/10 making Transformers the best of the three!! Laughable! Not played Lego Batman yet, but another example of majority of users disagreeing with their score. Reviews are extremely inconsistent!!

I agree whole heartedly with this review. I own the Wii version, and everything he said about the 360 version can be said about the one I have. There are long sections of the game that are a over the top in terms of puzzle wierdness, the suit system takes quite a bit to get used to, but some of the suits this reviewer didn't like I found to be interesting. He was also right about the humor. The game took the darker style of the more recent films and comics as opposed to the more lighthearted style of the earlier films and TV shows. Because of this, the pratfalls (which get overly repetative) don't quite fit as well. Yes, the game is fun to play, but the whole does not come together as smooth as you would like.

i thought that lego batman is much better than lego indiana jones because indiana jones controls are broken the puzzles are boring and frustrating i had to start a level all over because of control issues i was surpised when it got a 6.5

i don't get it he gave this a 6.5 but he gave Viva Pinata: Trouble in Paradise a 8.5 ??????????????????????????????????????

VERY BAD REVIEW

Wow this reviewer is crap. All he said in that entire 2 minutes and 49 seconds was that the Ai sucks, vehicle levels are boring, and it's fun with a friend. It wasn't even like in the start he was briefly touching on the issues he was going to discuss...the things he said WERE the issues and he said hardly anything extra about them when he got to the topic. And not to mention this guys complete lack of enthusiasm to be reviewing a game makes it a giant bore fest. Gamespot, you've always had terrible staff when it comes to videos. At least the on the spot guys have been switched out for better people or vastly improved them selves (THANK YOU FOR GETTING RID OF THE GIRL! She couldn't say 2 words with out stuttering for 10 seconds) but these reviews haven't gone anywhere. Really the only thing I like about gamespot is the site layout and the quick caps of the games (the good, the bad). The actual reviews are usually below average though.

That was the most boring and rubbish review ive ever seen. To short, to boring. This guy should NOT do video reviews. IGN, and Gametrailers are so much better.
