I don't think that they've actually said what it's going to be on. I imagine it will be a 360/PS3 type deal with the possibility of a Vita port.

The only Dreamcast games being made are homebrew. The last DC game officially licensed by Sega was Under Defeat.

Ugh, can these 'last PS2 game' threads stop already? We know it'll be a sports game of some sort that'll end the PS2's software run, so aren't there better topics to post about than this?

The last Dreamcast game was not Under Defeat. In 2008 were released TWO games, no less: Radilgy and Karous.

The last officially licensed Dreamcast titles were Triggerheart Exelica (released February 22, 2007) and Karous (released March 8, 2007). Radirgy was released in 2006, as was Under Defeat.

Well, the last PS2 game isn't going to be Madden 13. That's been confirmed to not have a PS2 version.
It will probably be FIFA.

Actually it hasn't been confirmed either way. There's a good chance that they release Madden 13 on the PS2.

Imagine if someone were to release a huge, awesome game on PS2 this long after its lifespan, like maybe Final Fantasy 15 or Metal Gear Solid 5. Why not, right? Games for PS3/Xbox take ages and loads of money to make and they usually end up mediocre anyway, especially in comparison to PS2 games. So why not go back to the awesome PS2?
I'd cry tears of joy if that happened. Too bad it won't. ;_;
