Even over a year later, still one of the most fantastic trailers of all time... Rivals most Hollywood blockbuster trailers hands down. "WE WILL STOP AT NOTHING! WE WILL FIGHT FOR THE LOST!"
WOW! i cant believe i never even thought about playing this game b4 it was announced to release on the ps3. ive seen commercials on it but never really cared till i started watchin gameplay movies and trailers. this game looks sikk, played the first one on pc last week. cant wait for january 18th
I played the first one on my brother's xbox and beat it pretty quick, it was an awesome experience. I can't wait till I get my own system so I can try the second one, it will be legendary.
I like the new weapon system with the thermal clips for 2 reasons. 1. Combat feels far better when there is the risk of being out gunned by the enemy...thus you have to plan and fight well. 2. I loved ME1 but I thought it was silly to have weapons that could fire all day long...wether it be ammo or energy nothing can work that way...if it could nothing in the future would require fuel or other resources and things obviously do in the ME galaxy.

sorry for the idiot comments that i wrote,the story is just unbelievable,miranda is cool,it was just the first 10 minutes i didn't enjoy you know the ammo is different the control panel when you are in a fight is changed but the rest is just....just perfect.I mean the story is very good,the characters are cool etc. grunt(and garrus) are the best,and miranda of course... I AM KROOOOGAAN!!!!
@spinmastah Let's face it though, it's essentially the same thing. A lack of thermal clips means you cannot fire your weapon when you run out of them. So basically it's "ammo" by nature, if not by name. I love ME2, but I don't think BioWare's explanation in cannon for thermal clips makes any sense. Previously, yes, if your weapon overheated it would cease to function. But, even if thermal clips negate the cooldown time, completely substituting a cooldown system for clips means that you can, technically, be left unable to fire ANY weapon until you find a clip, which wasn't possible using the old system. So it's ammo, whether you like it or not, it's ammo. Got no clips? Can't fire. Got clips? Can fire. Sounds like ammo to me.
@Tappimus You are not running out of ammo, you are ejecting thermal clips "aka heatsinks" from your gun to cool them. In the first game you had to wait for your guns to cool down. In ME2 they wanted to make the game more shooterish and give it a faster pace. I can remember a lot of times in ME1 where I died because my gun overheated and I was helpless until it cooled. Since they are not firing bullets, this is why the thermal clips work in all of the different guns in ME2.
@Jenssus if the guns don't fire bullets then why do they run out of ammo? I love the new combat mechanics in this game but its pretty frustrating when you try to use the shotgun as your main weapon but can only hold like 15 rounds at once...

I think this game is exceptional, yet another showcase in Biowares long line of outstanding RPG games. However I will say that I preferred the story in Mass effect 1, because all four major planets are all connected to Saren in some way, whereas most of the story in this one is getting your team (which again you get most of on the citadel in ME1), and the missions feel quite seperated from each other (except the ones where illusive man calls u to go after the collectors) Combat is definitely much improved however, and you still love seeing the repercussions of your actions. OH and the interrupt mechanic is awesome
for all gamers xbox or pc , IF YOU MISSED PLAYING THIS GAME THAN YOUR MISSING YOUR LIFE TIME !!!
I really hope if they ever decide to make a Mass Effect movie thats it CGI not live action and they use the game voice actors. Theres no actor alive who could convincingly play Shepard. They'd probably ruin it by having someone like Hugh Jackman or that Irishman Colin whats his face
@csiica95 Wrex lives if you import a Mass effect 1 game, where Wrex survived. And the reason they use clips now is to prevent the guns from overheating. The clips don't contain bullets, but act as some sort heat sink that is removed after reaching a certain temperature Btw love the trailer - especially the soundtrack truly epic
damn it , i can't stop watching it .I'd love it if Bioware would make a movie with this graphic .
