Most effective boss killing technique as a Destroyer?

Ever since they nerfed the Typhoon which I couldn't experience with the destroyer because I did not unlock it yet, is the only reliable method for dealing with Primes, Banshees, and Atlases to basically just slap on the Piranha and go crazy?

Another question is when people say to use the Revenant or some other AR post Typhoon post-nerf, do they mean to use these guns on the basic trooper level guys and not the bosses because it seems like with the Revenant it takes forever to kill things on Gold even at X. Yes the Piranha is great but if that ever gets nerfed then I can't think of whats a faster way to take down a boss as a Destroyer.

Seriously. That's all you CAN do. Throw a few nades to make it go faster. Unless you specced the launcher, then have that help.

Pirahna all the way. It's much better at killing bosses than the typhoon, even pre-patch. With devastator mode on, it's pretty accurate. Just put a piercing mod on it and go to town. Even with no bonuses or equipment, you can kill a banshee in 2-3 clips 10 round clips on platinum

Aim Piranha, shoot till it dies. IMO only use grenades if you're swarmed and need enemies to be stunned. Using them casually from across the map or even mid range is kinda useless.

Camp next to an ammo box or a supply pylon and Harrier it till it dies twice.

I use the Saber. Equip AP for ridiculous fast kills. Carry the Piranha for when things get too close. You can also go Incendiary and use multi-frag for fire explosions.
