Efficiency? I like this review better. He's not trying to cram as many big words as possible in under three minutes. looking at you Chris Watters. Besides I'm not sure you could do an "efficient" review of a game like this in that way.

I know this is very old now, but at the time I would've liked to do a review on this review. 1/10 for efficiency. GSpot has come a long way :P

With the Patches and mods out there the challenge from the other races really comes into play. A shame that the developer launched the game in such a sad state. But then we have most of Paradox Interactive games in the same boat these days. HOI 3 is one of the worst launches that more than six months later, and at this moment waiting for the 1.4 patch to cone out that the game is playable but pointless because the AI is worse than anything I have yet seen. It could be just that back in 2003 so many MOO3 players had high hopes and were let down, as well as it being less acceptable for strategy games to require several patches and wait months later to work half right. Anyhow I would give the game an 8 with the mods/patches.
