Relax guys.

The kid in the cage is obviously not Chico. It is too obvious (intentionally mind you) that all this video is made to deceive and mislead us.

The guy from PAX saw this video for the first time, much like us, he THINKS this is Chico.

Plus the highly ranked burned man keeps saying "Chico and Paz" "Chico and Paz" ... of course he wouldn't mention his name so many times if the kid in front of him was Chico himself.

He would probably say something like "the kid" "the brat" etc..

And since Big Boss is far older than Peace Walker, and obviously returned from some retirement - as suggested from - "well done Snake, age didn't slow you down a bit" - we can safely believe we WILL SEE SOLID SNAKE, perhaps in his early days, training/advancing in Foxhound.

So yeah, an awesome debut between Solid Snake and Big Boss? well yeah... it hasn't happen since the 80's - what better timing and place could it be for such an event?

So confused... is this a prequel or a sequel? If its a sequel why isnt snake as old as he was on MGS4? If a prequel why is he missing an eye? Or is this Big Boss? But if it is Big Boss why are they still calling him "Snake"? ... Bleh.

It's a prequel before Metal Gear the very first game on the NES but comes after peace walker I think as for why no one calls him big boss is that like I stated its a prequel before Metal Gear and before that game he never really liked to be called Big Boss he usually goes by and prefers Snake

@HipHopBeats @mndrk_ metal gear solid was only a playstation exclusive with MGS4 on the PS3 MGS1 had a PC port i believe for a little while and MGS2-3 was also on original Xbox as well as PS2 and a remake of MGS1 on the gamecube. while the original Metal Gears were PC only games for the MSX2 operating system, with the first game getting a really really bad port on the NES.

He should remake the first ones of MSX, that's where everything started and those first two games, even if graphically doesn't seems good, or even terrible nowadays, are the best metal gear games, best stories and bosses.

For those who don't know, MGS for ps1 is almost a copy of the first one of MSX, and MGS3 is a copy of MGS 2 of MSX. Simple as that. Now you know what I`m talking about.

@KirbyKirb20 @schmitzl But Have you played them my man? There are a lot of elements that are a complete copy of what you can see in MGS 1 and 2. For instance, in MGS for ps1 there's a moment in gameplay where Master Miller confirms to be Liquid Snake himself, AND in MGS, there's a moment where Big Boss revelas that it was him who was behind everything and stuff. That's the same thing to me.

And in MGS2: Solid Snake, there's a moment where you have to protect Natasha Markova, and we have same thing in MGS3, in the final of the game, with Eva.

I may have exaggerate a little bit about the bosses, but the rest is pretty much the same.

I'm not complaining, I love all the games, ended all of them, big fun, but I would really want a remake of the first ones of MSX, that's where we have a relationship between Snake and Big Boss for the first time.

Is it just me, or does Keighley seem like the entire time he's sitting down there, that he doesn't even want to be doing this interview? He seemed totally disinterested---or didn't want to have to wait for everything to be translated? -_-

Ground Zeroes looks stunning and I can hardly wait for when media of MGS5 first surfaces.

@DuaIFace probably because he has done this interview hundreds of times. it is highly unlikely this is the first time he's interviewed Kojima.

@LilRoss2k3 @DuaIFace most likely it is either 2 reasons A. he really doesnt care for MGS or japanese games in general (which is something ign, gamespot, kotaku, etc has shown in the past) or B. he has practiced the interview questions so many times he sick of asking them.

Metal Gear for the MSX/NES was the first, not a Solid title, just simple Metal Gear

One thing to note, Snake is old, older than MGS3 SE, means this game is after the story of MGS3. This also means that we will MOST probably fight Solid snake in Ground Zeroes if konami goes by the story line. I mean this will be really epic :) fun fun

@supa_stud @YummyMango Peace Walker is set 10 years after Snake Eater. So Ground Zeroes must be set around 15 years after SE. 1980's or so

Everything points to that possiblity. And that is expected since the last game that featured both of them was Metal Gear and Metal Gear Solid Snake in the 80's.
