- "Almost, but not quite"
Now, don't take me as a PC Elitist. I play Console and PC games alike, but believe me when I say the PC Version of Minecraft far outclasses this console port. Sure, it can serve as a decent stand-in for Minecraft if your PC lacks the specs (at this point I'd like to remind you that Minecraft isn't exactly the most demanding game.). The multiplayer servers can service far fewer players than the PC version, and the entire world is the size of the area drawn on a map in PC Minecraft. Not to mention that Xbox Minecraft is essentially PC Beta 1.6. The crafting system is also oversimplified. As opposed to the 2x2 and 3x3 grids, you simply have a menu that tells you everything you can build, and builds it for you, so long as you have all the materials. The controls just don't translate well from mouse & keyboard to Xbox 360 controller. On the positive side, it's Minecraft. That's about all I can say.
