Just to be clear there is sprinting in the game now. Just like the PC version, it is an ever growing title
this game needs to be re-reviewed 'tis out of date! did he not know when it was released that the game would be updated?
what the heck man this guy is saying how it does'nt have all the things the pc version have but it's also been out for three years so that fact is now it's been 7t MONTHS and we are just about to get the end so if this guy wants to commet on the updates he should do updated videos
The game will be updated soon to the 1.8.2 version, which includes the hunger bar, other foods, endermen(and the story mode) NPC villages and strongholds, xp orbs, etc.. 4j studios has not announced a specific date, but did say it'll be about another month as they are adding stuff from v. 1.9 to the v. 1.8.2 release.
@nechiken The reason is the amount of time you have to invest into actually making a game. It is likely that the deal was made when the game was still back in beta, and they had the architectural coding already set up for it, and it would have been too expensive or time consuming to make updating it worth it. It was more of a marketing idea really. In the end it is more about profit, rather than if the consumers are entirely happy.
i dont really interested in this version what i like is 1.2.5 version its much cool!!
I think if you and others on this comment section invested as much time in spelling, sentence structure and overall English grammar as you do playing games like this then people might be able to understand your comments.
2 Like i dont really like the xbox 360 version, it just doesnt feel right for me, but i do agree with the score, it is good but it still needs a lot of improvement as the pc version is different in many ways
most epic game on computer now on xbox 360 my favorite system well no villages :( but still epic

ì like it, i don't even care if there is no ogres or something. i don't even know how to do it, yet i am getting stuck on 'done loading'.
I love this game on pc and xbox but they should of kept the crafting the same as the pc its more fun that way and they should not of put split screen
2 Like i never thought in a million years a game with this amount of awful graphics would have me hooked, this game is amazing. by far the best arcade game ive bought it was more than worth the money and free updates and dlc u cant beat that.
1 Like @jayjay444 They graphics aren't awful. The graphics were designed to be like this. They are absolutely perfect for what they were made to be. This is one of the key aspects that make this game so great and unique. This truly differs the game from all others.

@timebsndit Once connected to Xbox live, go to the "Games" section of the Xbox Home. There should be "Game Marketplace". Click that. Now you can either search "Minecraft" or go to "New Releases". It should be there. You know, there's a high chance it could be advertised in the Xbox Home. You need to pay 1200 Microsoft Points to download it. Hope this helped.
@timebsndit You need Xbox LIVE and you need to search it with Bing in the Xbox 360. You play the trial for free or you can buy the game for 1630 microsoft points. Happy to help :)

I would really really REALLY love , if they make a Ps3 version because I play Minecraft since beta 1.3 but I think this will never happen because I think Microsoft have buyed the minecraft console version
For anyone who needs recipes in a more portable form, look for "Minecraft Canary" on Google Play market. Can't tell you how handy that thing became :P.
1 Like The crafting system is a HUGE improvement over its PC counterpart. One of my main complaints of minecraft was the fact that you had to check the wiki to get anything accomplished. This system is far more intuitive and deserves major kudos.

@jack33057 Yeah, I agree that it deserves more than a 7, although , I was really fond of the crafting system on the PC. I prefer having to memo rise where every item went in order to craft. Personally, I rate this game an 8.
I love how everybody comments on how this version of minecraft is so much older than the one on PC. They began working on it in 2011, before many of the updates for PC were even being worked on, and it's not like they could continue updating the 360 version while they were creating it and still get it out on time. People need to stop complaining about that, they're planning to update it to sync it with the PC version.
3 Like now that the xbox version is done, mojang needs to start working on a ps3 edition! for the ps3 players.
@bluebird08 actually the controls wont work out on the PS3, so that's why i think that they chose the Xbox 360 for the version, or most of the team had an Xbox 360.
@360army I highly doubt that. You're saying that Minecraft was not released on PS3 because of the controls? You might wanna not say anything before you go on about stuff you don't understand. The REAL reason why Minecraft isn't on the PlayStation3 is because Microsoft struck a deal with Mojang.
what part of this is easy to control? i found it all thumbs and ive been playing minecraft for a while and the xbox for even longer and it felt ALL thumbs to me in the trial
