$300 Epic Mickey PS3 Move bundle revealed
Sony launches new hardware bundle with Disney action game and motion controller exclusively at United States retailer Target.
Sony has announced a new $300 PlayStation 3 bundle that includes a 250GB system, Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two, and a PlayStation Move (navigation controller and PlayStation Eye). The bundle is available today exclusively at US retailer Target. No mention was made about whether the pack will launch elsewhere at a later date.
Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two launched November 18 to a lukewarm critical reception. GameSpot's review of the game praised its story (told through song) and its surprises spanning Disney's rich history, but lamented the game's jumping mechanics, combat, and co-op partner in Oswald.
As for the PS3, Sony recently announced Black Friday week sales for the system, noting the console shifted 525,000 units during the November 18-24 period. Total PS3 sales (hardware, software, and peripherals) jumped 9 percent year-over-year. Sony saw particular success in Latin America, where year-on-year sales rose 200 percent.
